Missing Ekdal Beyer badly at the back, that defence without them is entirely hopeless. Seems we can’t do anything productive with Foster up the other end either.

Vitinho Rodriguez Dara Delcroix Tresor Cullen AAD far too many players in one side who are currently miles off it.

Spineless, gutless, weak and bordering on embarrassing. It’s been a long time since you could ever say those sorts of things about a Burnley side. I really fear it could get very nasty at the Turf on Saturday

Bizarre that one of the best centre halves of the last decade or so has constructed such a shambolic defence.

I know I’m saying nothing new here but again we see that we’re neither hard to beat nor a gung-ho attacking side. We don’t get bodies in the box, we’re reticent to cross, there seems to be a real lack of movement, there’s rarely an incisive pass, our wingers run down blind allies and either give it away or have to go back, and we don’t look like we’re trying to dominate possession like we did last season.

I am not sure at all what the game plan is. Can anyone with a tactical brain tell me what it is we’re at least attempting to do as I feel I’m missing something. There has to be something he’s attempting to do. (Serious question/answer)

We are doing what we can until Jan as competent full back transforms this team.

Dreading Saturday now.

We’ll turn up, the atmosphere will be great - as soon as we concede it’ll nosedive and possibly get a bit terrible I think. Can’t see anything but a loss again, you just cannot see a route out of this rut with the squad we’ve built.

Oh for a drum.

Ive seen enough now this season , to know that nothing will change before the jan window. You can tinker all you want with goalies, C/B F/B. Centre mid.. sadly it wont make a difference. When the going gets tough you need heart - leaders and some to mix it up. ( Barnes is a bigger loss , than many thought). I think by December there is a high chance that VK will have lost the dressing room. Not sure where we go to be honest, but some organisation and defensive nouce is needed desperately.. there does not appear to be anything approaching a plan B. With so many Foreign recruits i wonder how many will stick around . How many have any resale-able value above what we paid.. its going to be a very concerning and tough few months ahead.

Bums. 2-0 was hardly the outcome I'd wanted but it sounded like some positives in the first half at least particularly Muric. But 3-0 again rather undermines that.

We are well and truly screwed and one can only hope a new man coming in at least kicks some life into this lot and fashions something to at least get excited about our of it. We do have the faintest hope in that only 3 of the 4 obviously crap teams in the PL can go down....

Ashley Young scoring against us in stoppage. Embarrassingly bad performance. Don't understand how VK is getting it so wrong. Needs to sack the set piece coach for a start.

Didn't think we played anywhere near as bad as the last two games. Scoreline flattered them but they certainly didn't have to work hard for it. Poor in our own 6 yard box. Will ultimately be out downfall if we don't fix it.

Muric showed us exactly what we've been missing. So much better building out from the back. Shame we couldn't go do anything with it.

On to the next.

On paper the defence is about as bad as it gets for a PL side.

Vitinho AAD Dara Delcroix  just laughable back four really and it shows, the lot of them are hopeless individually and a comedy of error together

Tresors been one of our better players
By far the best. Larsen didn't do anything all game... Redmond decent and hard working.

Not a big fan of Muric so renowned style of goalkeeping and passing. The ones crying for him can tone down.

Cork and brownhill drowned... Robert came in for a tired and beat vitinho and actually managed to perform worse.

Still can't blame the guys who started the game I thought they gave it all they got. For me Burnley is a better team than Everton and we will beat them the next game.
