Why are we still being linked with even more wingers in January.

On the Mission to Burnley series Kompany came out with a line which, I think, was it takes 150 training sessions and 120 meetings for the team to be performing how he would like. I think the full scale upheaval of the squad last year was badly needed and long overdue, so the lull in performances in the early part of last season where we were picking up a lot of draws was a price worth paying. The Championship is a league where a team can come back from having an average start and romp home just as we did.

We didn't need an overhaul this summer, IMO. We needed 2 or 3 blockbuster, quality additions to supplement what we had. The Premier League is a completely different beast and we can't start our season 3-4 months down the line. Massive mistakes were made in the summer. I think we got greedy and gambled on the players coming in being able to take it up another notch and, to date, none of them have IMO. There doesn't seem to be a plan, there's no cohesion, everything is too slow and laboured.

In spite of all this, I don't think it's time for Kompany to go. With the exception of 3 or 4, he has brought everyone of these players through the door and, in theory, if anyone can get them playing it should be him. He has a lot of credit in the bank from last year, both in terms of team performance and signings made. In another couple of months it might well be a different story.

I can take getting relegated when we're battling and beaten, but as it stands we're going down without a whimper.

I see you are having an argument with another fellow BFC supporter. Is this your sole purpose on being on the forum?

My Dad used to say if you cannot say something positive about a person then keep quiet.

Just have little patience with liars or attention seekers that's all. Now how is that screenshot of your bet going ?

You seem to not be as busy today, in fact you could have done it quicker than posting this guff

Write off Arsenal, if we loose at home to West Ham and especially Sheff, and in the same manner as recent defeats then things amongst the support could change very quickly.

Retired and still earning thousands, yet to fulfill your life you spend it lying on a football forum trying to impress people who don't know you or have no interest in knowing you
I am lucky, well a planned lucky from the age of 17.
Don’t lie,, no need to.
As for impressing people, not my intention, I honestly don’t give a flying what people think of me.

Well I don’t honestly.
The Muric one is so unbelievably.
We can see he should be playing, but he will be sold in Jan.

Well spit out what he's done then. If it's happened you're safe from libel. If it's so shocking your source can't be the only one who knows but you could even play two truths and a lie to protect them if you're that bothered.
What do you think you offer to the rest of us by going wink wink nudge nudge say no more about it all? What's the actual point?

Just seen that he has a worse record after 11 PL games than Brian Laws.

Just saying like.

:D :D ok Walter mitty

Spill the beans then, what did Muric do on planet lowbank.

If what you say is true nothing can happen, if what you are claiming to be the only person who know's and you can't say anything then you're lying, if you say this is why you can't tell the truth then you're lying. If you don't care what people think why would you lie ?

There is as much truth in this as your claimed coaching sessions you undertook at the club at the request of the manager.

I love it when people claim on a public forum that they are 'in the know' while offering nothing to back it up, but get all defensive when called out. This place sure does have its Walter Mitty's.

Laws got sacked from the league below because his team were bottom.

Kompany ****** that league with over 100 points.

Just saying like.

Really strange how people just completely reinvent history to try and prove points.

I would imagine he's alluding to his time at Sheffield Wednesday.

And Kompany has had a shed load more money to spend than Laws had at either Sheffield Wednesday or Burnley.

Edit: I responded to myself in error.

It was meant to be quoting claretcarrot. Sorry.

Seems a simple decision then, lets sack him and bring back Laws.

Then some will have the manager they deserve

I never wanted Laws in the first place, but it's interesting when you compare their respective PL records.

I've also seen this. It's absolutely hilarious.

With Muric still on the bench, is VK trying to meet the mafia halfway.

How do we know that VK hasn’t been told we got to the Premiership earlier than we planned, take your time to build a squad, if we come back down, then fine Just carry on building…. we’ll be patient and back you.

It's been known as the Premier League for the last fifteen years so I doubt he was told that.

Definitely fell for the old ‘tartan paint’ and ‘long stand’ lines.

Vincent Kompany and members of his staff are currently in Munich to meet personally today with the Supervisory board - waiting for an agreement with Burnley. Kompany cleared out his office and said goodbye to Burnley yesterday. The English club is demanding €20m

Another comment was, "Iteas an instant yes from Vincent Kompany".

That first season was absolutely immense, and it's a big thanks VK for all those memories created in that season, probably the best I've witnessed in my 46 years as a supporter

Last season though not on your Nellie, a painful car crash of a season which I feared would have serious repercussions next season such was the damage done to moral and belief over many facets of BFC

I wish him well at Bayern, even more so if they are willing to part with €15 million for his services

Hopefully Pace and co have learnt a harsh lesson too to not appear to be in awe or besotted by a manager and actually treat him as an employee!
