What irritates me the most is their not understanding the game's rules. That goes to people like Alan Shearer and Co.

Modern punditry is shocking in general, though. I saw a TikTok video of someone lampooning the difference between the old style and the new style, and it was spot on. I'll see if I can find it.

Fully agree people should learn by their mistakes but when they keep making mistakes and don't learn you begin to think they are beyond help, who knows one day all people will find racism wrong as well. I mean imagine telling people you are refusing to watch the team you support simply because those players who are playing for your team are promoting equality.

You claimed that you didn't know if Boris was a liar, have you learnt from that mistake yet ?
Are we talking about Simon Jordan or are we discussing other things? Is this a thread about racism & equality or Boris Johnson? I could extend about that but we all know where the thread would end up & it's not relevant to the thread topic. I'm happy to discuss Simon Jordan as it ties in with everton getting docked 10 pts but that's as far as it goes.

It occurred to me that these FFP rules are not meant for moneyed clubs - certainly not the likes of City and Chelsea - but rather clubs like us who haven't a hope of competing with them but may be tempted, leading to possible financial disaster.

Ironic then that it is City and Chelsea that are being scrutinised. Possibly Everton may partly come into that category. As they were one of the greedy five that formulated the Premier League in the first place, I'm not unhappy about that.

Man City could get docked 50 points and still survive easily this season - that's the gulf difference example.

I’d like to think that any money we could take as compensation is recognized as out of budget and could be spent building the Goodison End Stand- nice for another Everton funded stand at the Turf
