Everton are appealing the number of points, not the verdict itself.

Therefore the 3 clubs, Burnley, Leeds and Leicester have grounds to make a claim
Burnley, of all clubs, have a serious claim.

All the above mentioned clubs have a claim.
The FA will pay them off in order not to upset the gravy train.

Chester Perry will know this better than me but the word on "the financial street tonight" is that Everton hiearchy know they are in big trouble........Damage limitation at best........but, for sure, any points deductions will help us......bring it on.

Why would all three teams withdraw there plan to sue? If it’s as cut and dry as you believe
It's probably more preferable the route of a negotiated settlement as it'll be less protracted & the other way maybe no guarantee of recovering the legal costs.

Leeds & Leicester are supposed to be doing the same, I think it's the wisest choice all round to find some sort of a resolution & put the thing to bed. With not going whole hog it does make you doubt that the compensation amount won't be as high as some people thought it would be, but as the old saying goes anything is better than nothing.

The FA?
They’re not involved in this

Was reading an interesting piece that suggests the Government are likely to want this quietening down… because of the amount of money the oil states are pumping into their reboot of the economy plans… last thing the Tories want is City and Chelsea owners falling out about football investment.
