Forest v Everton
Like a Clarets old boys club reunion, Dwight and Tarks start for Everton and Chris Wood for NF.
And an ex- Burnley manager to boot.

Everton are all over them.
Forest don't look a great side. Everton will easily be safe but Forest won't.

Was just thinking this. Not sure that a Forest victory will be what we want, especially if the points deduction is reduced on appeal.JimmyRobbo wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2023 5:53 pmEverton are all over them.

Re: Forest v Everton
Even without any reduction I think Sean Dyche will keep Everton up; it's Forest or Bournemouth - along with Luton and Sheffield - who we will need to get above to stay up.Holmeclaret wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2023 6:01 pm...Not sure that a Forest victory will be what we want, especially if the points deduction is reduced on appeal.

That's my conclusion, for what it is worth. Who knows? I do think Everton have enough quality where it is needed.Holmeclaret wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2023 6:01 pmWas just thinking this. Not sure that a Forest victory will be what we want, especially if the points deduction is reduced on appeal.
I think our survival will depend on Luton, Sheff U, Bournemouth and Forest. I could be miles off.
Interesting that our 3 wins (if VAR hadn't intervened) would have been Luton, Sheff U and Forest.

Great goal by best player on pitch by a mile
Re: Forest v Everton
Chris Wood is absolutely useless unless he’s scoring a penalty or a header from a corner, offers nothing to the game at all.

All the Dwight doubters on here left with egg on their face.
Re: Forest v Everton
I think we’ve more chance of catching Forest than Everton.

I'm still genuinely bemused as to why some of our fans would boo him.Conroysleftfoot wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2023 7:00 pmAll the Dwight doubters on here left with egg on their face.

The most likely 3 to go down.
This season could easily see a record low points aggregate for the 3 relegated clubs, and the lowest total for survival.

That striker Dyche has signed for £26m looks like he wouldn’t score if he played all night.

They weren’t doubters, they were unhappy at his performances which were poor in his last season hereConroysleftfoot wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2023 7:00 pmAll the Dwight doubters on here left with egg on their face.

You know bill , I think that became less of an issue.boatshed bill wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2023 7:15 pmBit of both, wasn't it.
Plenty used to bemoan his one-footedness.
I think it was more his body language and apparent lack of effort to track back , costing us goals .
He’s playing for Everton like he played for us in the early days. I suspect he fell out of love with the club
So pleased for him now
Re: Forest v Everton
Everton will be safe no problem Dyche has them playing effectively.

Interesting game as it was close all the way through.
Everton deserved it and won’t be in the relegation area at the end of the season
Great strike by Dwight

Good player. He won't be the last left-winger who gets an earful for being a little below his best.

Re: Forest v Everton
They were very lucky they had VAR on their side that day. Definitely can be caught.
It's pretty simple , VK gets the side playing and we catch Forest
