O'Shea - 6 big mistake allowing Watkins to runs across him unchallenged. Just has too many arrows in him for this level.
I think that’s the best predictive text typo ever

We've played pretty we today against a decent team and for significant amounts of time we were the better side. Given away two soft goals, and been done over by the officials again with two of the worst decisions you'll ever see. Shame as we did so well to get ourselves level and didn't deserve to lose that one, especially with 10 men.

Trafford 8 some strong handling and his long range passing was very good indeed

Vitinho 5 another game where he does some good stuff, ie covering late on and some really dumb stuff like the 1st goal where he looks like he has no idea where he is.

O'Shea 7 decent, got up well for the assist

Taylor 5 difficult day after he did so well against Salah in the week

Berge 4 Sander Berk more like today. Two very soft yellows but he put the second on a plate for Luton's Attwell.

Brownhill 7

Gudmundsson 6 involved in both goals and was the right call to start him today

Odobert 7

Amdouni 7 gambled and got into the right place for a change and he controlled his finish really well. Got a decent partnership going with Foster as well.

Foster 9 superb, how we've missed him

Delcroix 4 half a second behind play at all times. Assuming we had no other defenders fit as he should be nowhere near getting PL minutes based on everything we've seen from him so far.

Ramsey 5 he should just launch it clear and not give their player and the ref the opportunity to cheat. Can't really blame him though if you've been watching this season you know that almost all our players will now take a touch in the box like that.

Robbed. Cheats, refs and var are killing football.

Trafford 8 Excellent display
Vitinho 5
Taylor 6
O’Shea 7
Berge 4 disgrace
Brownhill 7
Gudmundsson 7
Odobert 6
Amdouni 7
Foster 9 superb front line man performance

Delcroix 5 weak
Ramsey 5 poor

Damned unlucky or rather robbed by prem league and their lackeys. They must have AV in the mix this season, so anything given to increase that chance.

Trafford- 8. 1 flap at a corner but otherwise fautless.

Vitinho- 5. He's had a couple of dicey performances after a good run has Viti. Might be time to swap Roberts back in.
O'Shea- 7. Good, not amazing, but much more solid than earlier in the season.
Beyer- N/A
Taylor- 5. Struggled.

Gudmundsson- 7. Surprised at some of the marks for him thought he was an important productive player.
Brownhill- 6. Did okay, classic Josh Brownhill PL performance really, lot of effort, nothing spectacular, nothing too bad, just sort of ticked over.
Berge- 4. Shocker. I think even with the soft pen we'd have got something out of this if we hadn't gone down to 10. Worried about the next game now without him, despite his mare today.
Odobert- 6. Flatters to deceive at times but he's a 19 yr old winger, to be expected.

Amdouni- 7. Took an awkward goal very well, looks much better with a mobile partner.
Foster- 8 (MOM). Debated giving him a 9, feels about an 8.5 if that were a thing. Much more like it, we've missed him so much.

Delcroix- 5. Don't get why he's on the bench unless Al Dakhil and Ekdal are injured. Best performance I've seen from him but still not good enough.
Ramsey- 4. This kid's not ready. Another sub that cost us, another new arrival who doesn't look either up to speed or up to standard.

Ref- 0. Absolutely robbed us with that pen. The VAR decisions regarding offside, though painful, I do think were correct. The penalty was not. Outrageous that stood.

Trafford 8 no doubting his shot saving ability and he is improving the rest of his game
Vitinho 5 I shall repeat what I have been repeating on here for two months...he can not mark one on one and is simply not a good defensive fullback
O’Shea 6 good in bits but always liable to an error
Delcroix 6 looks quite good on the ball but positionally not great
Taylor 5 normally a fan, but he was poor yesterday
JBG 7 worked hard defensively, covering for Vito. Did okay going forward
Berge 5 one off for stupid yellow cards
Brownhill 7 did his usual all over the pitch work and tried to back up near their box
Odobert 6 good in bits, but disappears and doesn’t help Taylor too much
Amdouni 7 found space for his goal and overall linked up quite well with Foster
Foster 9 mom I did say last season when was supposed to be “pony” that he would adapt well to the PL. I just hope we can keep him for next season when I fear we will be back in the Championship.

Ramsey 4 why bring him on in such an important game? He and Tresor are two players I can not get my head round. I don’t how much we paid for them both but I have yet to see anything positive. I hope they both prove me wrong.

Against a good Villa side we put in a good all round performance but our naivety and lack of understanding of game management let us down again. We are so frustrating to watch at the moment: having said that I thought we played with desire and belief yesterday which was great too see, so let’s hope we have a much better second half to the season.
