Strange one with no Delcroix, Berge, Taylor or Beyer - do any of them have confirmed knocks or suspensions? Can't remember

Re: Burnley v Luton
I can’t understand why we wouldn’t go with Roberts at right back and Vitinho left back if it’s a 4-4-2 we’re going to play.
Al-Dakhil was frightening and hung out to dry at right back earlier in the season. God only knows what he’s going to be like at left back.
I hope I’m eating my words come the full time whistle, but that Luton team looks stronger than ours to me.

Re: Burnley v Luton
Looks like Roberts is on his way to DL so he'd only be used if we had several injuries.
Re: Burnley v Luton
Thought the rumour was Charlie to Leeds
Re: Burnley v Luton
Like I said before, we’ve lost the height of Berge and Taylor. Going with Roberts and Cullen against Luton would be set piece suicide. Luton are blessed to have no injuries or illness so it’s no surprise it looks good.BurnleyFC wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 6:56 pmI can’t understand why we wouldn’t go with Roberts at right back and Vitinho left back.

Re: Burnley v Luton
So heard about Beyer & Charlie earlier.
Also heard Delcroix injured.
Didn’t know about Berge.
A player out for the season with an injury (not Berge, Charlie or Beyer - not a big worry for me)
Don’t kill me if I’m wrong but in the context of the other things being right, just passing on what I’ve heard.
Will be happy with a point today given injuries.

Re: Burnley v Luton
Don't join in the goalkeeper debate , but tonight I'd liked to of seen Muric . He commands the high ball into the box more than Trafford, and i reckon Luton will be sending plenty of those in tonight.

Has to be all 3 tonight. Not that it will end the season but if we don’t beat this lot the confidence would be at an all time low.NewClaret wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 7:06 pmSo heard about Beyer & Charlie earlier.

I think anything but 3 today makes staying up a lot less likely. With odds already stacked.jimmy_smullen wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 7:08 pmHas to be all 3 tonight. Not that it will end the season but if we don’t beat this lot the confidence would be at an all time low.

Re: Burnley v Luton
They’re above us for a reason, tough game, we have three first teamers out; two of our best defenders this season and our tallest midfielder has been replaced with our smallest. I’ll be very happy if we get a point and they don’t draw further ahead of us.jimmy_smullen wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 7:08 pmHas to be all 3 tonight. Amazing we can spend so much and line up like this, last seasons team would batter this one.
