Re: Adios JDT
Shame I think he's doing a fantastic job there.
I remember in the run up to the demolition of them at Turf Moor in November 2022 how he seemed a little cocky and confident that they would be going top of the table at the World Cup break, prior to get embarrassed by Anass, Barnes, Tella et al. One of my favourite games at Turf Moor in my 30 years of visiting.
All the best JDT.
Anyone know what Owen Coyle is up to?

Agent Keane may be tempted to return from his current job in the Georgian league.
Re: Adios JDT
Rovers fans never seem to have taken to him, despite him giving them their highest finish in a decade. Funny bunch.

Re: Adios JDT

Re: Adios JDT
I know plenty who had had enough of him. They always said he was too negative. Would get 1-0 up and put the defenders on and go into a low bloc.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 12:07 amhuge mistake potting Mowbray, was that another manager their fans wanted potting or a Venkys decision ?
Think Mowbray is a great manager, and very knowledgable, remember when he said, "IT HURTS ROVERS FANS TOO SEE JUST HOW FAR BURNLEY ARE AHEAD OF US RIGHT NOW." Knows his stuff does TM.

I actually think he’s a good manager, properly had his hands tied there, which is great.

He can manage a far better club than rovers. Michael Duff?

Re: Adios JDT
He’s been banned from doing an interview by the club after todays game ,how’s that for a good bit or PR?

Other than a few big scoring cups wins, has hasn’t really pulled up any trees.

Re: Adios JDT
Best Rovers canhope for is lower Championship survival and the odd Cup win.A mistake forgetting we are the best team in Lancashire so expectations a little skewed re success.

Re: Adios JDT
Did they get the US(!) striker over the line?
He’s lost some players over the last two windows and loans can be iffy.

Re: Adios JDT
As much as I like VK and don't want to lose him I think JDT could have done just as good of a job with us. He's never had the funds (thankfully) at that lot to do what VK has done here.NottsClaret wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 4:48 amI actually think he’s a good manager, properly had his hands tied there, which is great.
