We're obviously a much better side away from home this season and I have a sneaky feeling that we might upset Palace this weekend.

It's their new manager, Oliver Glasner's debut game in the dugouts for Palace; hopefully we'll spoil their day.

I imagine it will be the same team with JBG coming in for Ramsey, though VK might have a tinker up his sleeve... Any thoughts Clarets?

Their defensive midfielder Wharton seems to always follow the ball trying to get involved. (As any young player in his first few games would).

I remember going to Palace for Trevor Francis first game and I think we beat them 2-1. Francis came out in tiny shorts if I remember rightly. Hope history repeats itself and we nick a win.

Yep - Glasner is meant to a big proponent of relentless pressing, not necessarily deep in our half but anything around halfway and in their half.

I think it's a good game script for us - as good as we will have really.

weren't they missing 2 of them at the Turf (one came on as sub) and they still just waited for us to screw up ! Honestly, given last weeks performance they could play the under 21's and I would still have zero faith in this team this season

I think you might be suggesting that goalkeeper is one of 'our issues'( I hold my hand up if I'm wrong). I agree with you but just don't see this happening now. With the players we have at our disposal where do you see other 'issues' being possibly remedied?

If I’m honest I’m not. I am personally of the opinion it doesn’t matter who’s in goal we have got bigger issues.

I’m specifically looking at the likes of Amdouni and Brownhill, they have been really poor for some time now and similarly I’m not sure this formation is benefitting us at all.

What did Palace do to impress you against Everton? If DCL could score, Everton would have had 4.

Same situation for them squad wise as on Monday against Everton, but their players still put a good shift in there having 10 shots (4 on target).
With their 3 best young players still on the treatment table it should be a walk in the park (Selhurst Park).

After 22 minutes and 27 seconds Trafford will flap at a cross, completely miss it - the ball will then hit the post and rebound onto the back of Amdouni's head into the path of Jefferey Schlupp who will pass it into the net.

We will then dominate again until half time and we will go into HT the better side and we will all optimistically look forward to the second half.

Palace will then come out and score immediately. We will retreat into our shells until the 70th minute but will then have a resurgence and start to dominate the game.

On the 80th minute VK will take off Fofana and Amdouni and replace them with two cleaning ladies Agnes and Loretta who will narrowly miss a couple of chances.

In the post match ratings all the players will get 5 except Trafford who will get a 6 and comments like 'he was brilliant except for the goals' and Agnes who will get a 7 and MoM.

In his post match commentary, VK will say that it is the worst we will play all season and that we are progressing.

On Talk Sport Adrian Durham will call it a sh*t show and we are the worst side to ever play in the PL.

Do we have a formation, I haven't really seen one, at least not consistently, however we do seem to consistently change personnel, and consequently I just don't think anybody really knows where he wants them to play anymore.

That's where I get confused. If Amdouni and Brownhill are replaced who comes in for them? Does the inclusion of two different players affect the formation?
What formation do you think might be beneficial to us tomorrow? Genuine question because I'm lost currently regarding what our preparation might entail.
