Anybody counting how many times we’ve given the ball away today under little or no pressure?

I feel that Trafford would have been loved on here if he played under Dyche.
Nah he’s shite

It's clear the team selection just matches the club philosophy. It doesn't matter if we lose points each game because of Trafford, we need to develop him at all costs. Same goes to a bunch of other players. That's why we continue with Amdouni and don't play the likes of Muric and Cork.

Personally I don't agree with it, results should always come first. However I also don't agree when posters have said it harms development. Not at all, if anything players learn more getting their assess handed to them each game. Trafford is young and eventually will learn, just the same as any young goalkeeper.
Trouble is sport is competetive and as much about mental state as physical.

Getting spannered week in week out whilst being one of the shittest teams in top flight history has a good chance of mentally scarring these players and setting any development back years

What I don’t like about this club though, and this messageboard, is the singling out of 18, 19, 20, 21 year old players. We should be better than that as supporters. Players like Odobert will have quiet games at his age. He is a talent.
Just supporters scapegoating players, it’s always been the same on here, players like Charlie Taylor can do no wrong on here, let’s completely attack the young lads instead… then we wonder why they have zero confidence

Biggest problem is we have a team full of them, other Premier league teams integrate the odd one or 2, not a team full, again can only blame vk for thinking he could get away with it, is he really that stupid, it's very amateur from him, nobody would believe he'd been at the top level as a player and international, as people keep saying quite bizarre.

Imagine this team without Odobert
I’m not sure it can get any worse.

I do think Odobert is a talent mind. Just needs a break.

Some truth in that though I still support VK.

But don’t target the young player, that is my point. Arguably young manager too but that is different, he gets paid the big bucks.

(Great defending by Odobert just then to get us out of trouble)

Certainly this message board problem, less so a club thing.

The 3-4 who abuse Trafford has grown into a solid 10+ on the matchday threads. Then again its all to easy to spoud diatribe behind a keyboard, when if you did the same in the stadium someone is likely to tell you to shut the F up...

May as well chuck Benson on for a half to see where he’s at.
Feel like we could have every first teamer injured and he'd sit on the bench for the youth team to play instead.
Be amazed if he ever gets a proper (ie. Not 5 mins when already losing) chance.

I think the Palarse fans need to start worrying about how **** their team is versus how long trafford is taking with the ball.
