There's no point blaming Trafford , he's a young lad unfortunately out of his depth ( for now) . The blame is definitely with VK / goalkeeping coach .

I don't think it is as much the club's philosophy as you're making out, VK did the same at Anderlecht and they ended up cutting ties with him because they got bored of waiting for the kids to blossom.

He has a big part to play in the clubs philosophy for sure. As fans I guess it's whether you believe in the long term it will benefit us or not.
A long term philosophy could be establishing a team in a league over several seasons like we had under Stan in the championship but it can also be trying to establish ourselves in the Premier League which nowadays relegation is almost inevitable with a younger team.

If we hadn't got promoted last season the project would still be the same.

Getting to the point soon where we may throw the final game at home to Forest to get a team with a lower spend relegated with us (Luton).

Would be a crying shame for Luton but arguably the pragmatic choice.
