Yes, players get appearance fees. They’ll get a fee for being being named on the bench too.

Not sure how to link but it was on the Ben Foster podcast. Its nothing to do with bad mouthing the manager, he didnt really need to say much but he showed real enthusiam about the methods that VK has brought in.

Exactly this- we went from Dyche making subs at 80mins to VK regularly making half time subs last season.

It is genuinely feeling spiteful at this point. To either Benson or the fans who want him to play, maybe both.
Just makes no sense.
We're done, we're offering nothing, yet Kompany claims everyone's been given a chance when we have other wingers offering naff all week after week.
Okay, Benson's frail and can't defend. Same of Odobert. Gudmundsson is naturally left sided, why the hell won't we at least TRY Gudmundsson back on the left and Benny coming on at 55-60 mins on the right, for a few games?
It's just maddening. Worse than Dyche's reluctance to use subs.
