You must have too much time on yours hands to watch the highlights of a dull FA Cup game, as mentioned earlier, I almost fell asleep in the first half.Carlos the Great wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2024 9:30 amI’ve just watched the highlights again of that game … and what is clearly apparent is we looked a premier league team in that game creating problems all over the pitch for a very good spurs team Compare that with what we are watching now is massively different maybe due to a loss of confidence

It was a standard and comfortable save, and I've no doubt you'd be saying that if Trafford had made it.CoolClaret wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2024 9:34 amhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ud_61KGbDEk
Cracking save by our best goalkeeper at 00:56 as well
If you look on SofaScore/FOTmob at the players' average positions in that game vs the league games you'll notice that the players are a lot more spread out over the pitch.
Wonder why![]()

I have a feeling today might be the day we take out the trash and bring Muric in for a game!
If he doesn’t do it after Trafford’s humiliating error against Palace then Vincent must go.

I think it was possible you did fall asleep and miss what went on when Spurs scored … I’d suggest a very strong coffee before todays game

You are so entrenched in the Trafford/Muric divide - you highlighting and labelling that save as 'cracking' exemplifies that point.CoolClaret wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2024 9:41 amGive credit for any decent saves Traff has made, just don't think he's particularly made many and his overall positioning is dreadful.
Re: Muric - Surely has to start on Sunday ?
I want Muric back for a few games, however if we continue our powder puff defending and zonal marking we could bring back a fully fit Nick Pope and he'd struggle with this defence.

Calling one of our players "trash", what lovely fans we have, from someone who calls for others not to be nasty to himStayingDown4Ever wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2024 9:40 amI have a feeling today might be the day we take out the trash and bring Muric in for a game!

Re: Muric - Surely has to start on Sunday ?
Trafford isn't trash and I think he is struggling with the way VK wants to play, add that to his inexperience and it's always putting him in a bad position. Throwing him out there in this scenario, week in and week out must be destroying his confidence and he should be replaced for his own sake.StayingDown4Ever wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2024 9:40 amI have a feeling today might be the day we take out the trash and bring Muric in for a game!

If Muric comes in for a few games and struggles, at least then Trafford has a chance to earn the shirt back.
Re: Muric - Surely has to start on Sunday ?
Muric needs to start today for everyone's sanity, including James Trafford's

Muric starting today, will give us a better chance of winning the game for one reason. The change in atmosphere around the ground.

It's a good point. There just have to enforced changes. Very risky if Kompany doesn't.PremierLeagueClass wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2024 10:33 amMuric starting today, will give us a better chance of winning the game for one reason. The change in atmosphere around the ground.

If VK drops Trafford today then he is admitting he has been wrong all season long. Don’t see him doing that

If Trafford starts and has a wobbler it’s not going to help him, the team, the crowd or VK if the crowd turns. Hopefully sanity prevails and we make sone changes.

We have a squad of 25 players so it should be perfectly acceptable to tinker with his team … im worried that VK is stubborn to a point of arrogance where he is not able to accept he has made a mistake

More stupidity why on Earth is Jayrod not up front Jack Cork cm.Benny wide right and Aro in goal?
Re: Muric - Surely has to start on Sunday ?
I seriously wonder if there's something in Traffords contract that he has to start every Premier game if fit. I can't think of any other reason why Muric isn't getting a chance after the mistakes Trafford has made.

Talk about being stubbon, you know that we will lose today due to Kompany not playing Muric, i hope the crowd turn, then he knows how we feel about his stupid selections, but hey ho what do i know ?, im not him...............will wait n see, Solanke plays for them with a bad ankle injury....watch him score.

Think it must be Vitinho right wing and Assignon at right back.
Not sure what Bruun Larsen has done to merit a start and I hope for Trafford’s own sake he doesn’t drop a bollock today.

Absolutely baffling to play silly bugger with the lineup to the point of picking 3 fullbacks and 2 wingers when we're presumably lining up 442, but not want to swap the keeper.
I hope Trafford has a good game (or ideally, has nothing to do). If he doesn't I worry the atmosphere on the ground could turn nasty.

The OP is obviously keen on recycling making sure that the thread title will still be relevant for the Burnley fixture next weekend
