Re: Happy St Patrick's Day
At a party at the Queen Vic in Tenerife yesterday for an Irish guy who is actually 70 today.
He was called Jim ! When asked why he was not called Paddy (Patrick) he said his older brother was called Paddy !!
His brother was born two days before St.Patrick's Day !! Jim was actually called James Patrick !!
I wonder if their mother had planned for both of them to be born on St.Patrick's Day ????

There are an enormous number of Irish born around the 17th December. What a coincidence.

I’m celebrating my St Patrick’s day birthday in Cyprus. The hotel I always stay at, reserved me a table, with a bottle of bubbly and then gave me a delicious birthday cake.To cap it off, when I walked into my room I opened the balcony door overlooking the music venue and they were playing Irish folk songs. Begorah they were playing /singing No Nay Never, so I belted out my best rendition of it. What a birthday present that was.
