Burnley were immense today. Down to 10 men, one of the best performances against the odds I’ve witnessed. We were the best team and we’ve just got to use it as a positive.
The whole season now looks different to me

So that's every single pundit now in agreement that it's an awful decision after watching MOTD

No doubt we will get our 3rd or 4th letter of apology from Webb, as if that makes things alright because every single wrong decision we've received a letter of apology about has cost us points, not ones where we are 3 goals down but have actually changed the direction and result of the game. It absolutely stinks and it could cost the club millions

Absolutely correct. We got a bit lucky v WH with decisions but virtually every other game has had ruthless decisions at our expense interspersed with diabolical decisions.

6 red cards this season! Are we really deserving of that record? Like hell! The disparity in treatment by the officals has been staggering to witness.

The PGMOL will hide behind "clear and obvious error" like they always do.

We all knew at the time it was a ridiculous decision, even chelsea fans generally are in agreement on their forum. When you watch it back it looks even worse, if that's possible.

I genuinely don't know how a match official gets that so wrong. I said on the match day thread yesterday there's not a chance we get that at Stamford Bridge.

Moving on from that, I've read we've had 6 players sent off - the most of any club. WTF is that all about. We aren't sly or sneaky, we are don't surround the ref at every opportunity, we don't dive or try to con the ref any more than any other club. And we certainly aren't a dirty or physical side. Its so fkin annoying.

The positive publicity the town gets plus the benefits to local businesses and the general good feeling that comes from being in the Prem is great but the other side of it stinks like blocked drain.

Do we think the club appeal the penalty. Not heard any pundit yet, say he thought it was a penalty

I don't think it's entirely a co-incidence that we give away a lot of Pens and have players sent off. We've played quite a lot of gung ho football all season and yesterday Assignon got the wrong side of his winger twice. Poor refeering to send him off no doubt but second half we went to a really solid pair of fours and looked much less vulnerable both to silly fouls and poor refereeing decisions.

Both sides looked pretty ordinary yesterday in the first half in midfield and defence but both looked good going forward. In our case, because we had 8 players around their box at times. Mudric had the run of the park and poor Assignon had his job cut out.

Second half was a revelation when we still looked dangerous but had a really good shape in midfield and defence.

It was so noticeable yesterday. This team is good enough to be in the PL but they won't be because the management team have made so many mistakes and continue to do so.

First game me and my Dad have managed to get to this season and we had a brilliant day. The fans were great and the performance was excellent. Spirit, fight and quality! Why on earth has it taken this long! UTC.
