Becoming a Dog person for the first time in adulthood and being in my late 60's I wasn't keen (my wife got the Dog). After 16 months though I wouldn't be without my little mate despite his habit of barking at all those noises we can't actually hear.
He makes sure I get up and walk a bit more than I had done since Covid/Heart Attack and it really is great plus meeting all these other people with Dogs, the vast majority are lovely and have lovely well behaved pets too. I just can't stand the 'trophy dog' types with their snarling faces even though the dogs are okay
All of these photo's are brilliant!

I don't have a dog given I live on my own and I'm out far too often but I thought I'd contribute with a pic of a former member of our family. It was taken in Towneley Park.

This is Hobo...he's not a proper dog though we give him a sausage sandwich with Lurpak...he eats the teacake and leaves the sausages.

The picture of the weightlifting dog got me wondering why he'd put pictures of his kids on the garage door!

This thread is the best example of why most dog owners are the most selfish people on the planet. Do you really think dogs like having silly clothes etc put on them then they have to pose to have their photos taken. (for what reason) Do you not think this experience is unenjoyable and stressful enough for them. Just looking at these photos is very uncomfortable for me to view, never mind the dog.

This post is the best example of why you're the biggest tosser on this forum.
My dog has a jumper in winter because it keeps her warm - yes her fur would do this but we like to keep it short because she gets frustrated when her fur is long and it noticeably happier and calmer with shorter fur.

he's got a point though.
putting clothes on a dog comes one step before putting the clothed dog into a pram.
