if you want to do nice things and spend money on luxuries, get a better paid job. if you dont want to do that, then dont moan you cant afford it. simplesCoolClaret wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 1:35 pmDo you understand how relativity and specifically wage relativity works?
The fact that our priciest tickets are the same as Bayern Munich's is fair bonkers just in and of itself.
The average salary in Munich is about €67K (£57K) / year ... UK average is £31K - burnley/lancs will be significantly less.
One league doesn't rip their fans off, one does - it's that simple.
The Season Tickets will continue to rise in price - give it 2-5 years and all of a sudden you'll be paying 1.5-2 x the price you were 10 years ago, do you think that's right?

Aah but in a few weeks time when relegation is confirmed Tony, they will be actively telling us we are getting four extra games for our money.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 11:28 amI'm on a tight budget now and the increase is big for me, but the even bigger increases for under-22s is horrendous. Ours are the biggest increases, percentage wise, in the Premier League so far by some considerable distance.

The dearest season ticket per age group works out per game at :-CoolClaret wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 1:35 pmDo you understand how relativity and specifically wage relativity works?

Adult £22.82
Over 65 £15.65
Under 22 £15.65
Under 18 £6.26
You can also get tickets for under 12s working out at £2.52 per game
Which of these prices are you annoyed at most ? Do I think less than £23 for the dearest seat in the ground is a rip off for me ? No. Do you think it is ?
Some strange thought process that someone who doesn't have a season ticket and watches illegal streams is one of the most annoyed.
How many away games do you think we will have next season where the ticket price is lower than any of those listed above. Why do we have fans paying more than this every away game this season and next season yet it is so wrong to support your own club by paying those amounts. If we are ripping off fans how much should an under 18 work out at if just over £6 is so wrong ?
Re: So who's renewed their ST?
The ST increases this season are quite high. However, to put it into perspective this is what my local team Shrewsbury Town are now charging post early bird. I do agree with other posters though that prices should reflect the demographics and Burnley is a poorer area than Shrewsbury. However, these ST prices aren’t cheap for a side who consistently languish near the bottom of League One.
I was up at the match on Saturday and discussing our hospitality renewal in the Bob Lord Trophy Room for next season and I didn’t realise the price had gone up by 20%.
This season it was £2,250 + VAT (£2,700). Next season it will be £2,800 + VAT (£3,360). We have been members of the what was the 100 Club and now moved to the trophy room for over 15 seasons now and this is how they reward loyalty. We will probably renew to keep our seats, however this hospitality offering doesn’t reflect value for money anymore. If we don’t come back up within a couple of seasons the club may get egg on their faces when the lounges are only half full. Furthermore, they may upset loyal taken for granted hospitality members if they then try to sell lounge spaces on a discounted match by match basis.

I'm specifically talking about how the price hikes are going to come along extremely quickly for season tickets - if you think it's just for one season you're in dreamland, as well as the price for individual games.

No e-mail, text, letter or phone call. I'm wondering if it may be because of the e-mail I sent to complain about being asked to leave the stadium while watching the on pitch celebrations, at the last game of last season. Fortunately I keep track of advice on this site and have been been monitoring my Burnley account. It appears my dd is being renewed. I hope they don't mess it up.

Renewed 4 tickets overall increase app 17%.
All these increases will come back to bite our smiling illustrious owners on the backside next season if we languish mid table or below.

If it is individual games you attend can I pick say 20 random games this season and you will be able to provide these ?
Lets start with Sheff Utd, Everton or Man Utd away these are recent ones, or the one from last Saturday against Brighton. There is 4 for a start

The email from the club for some fans with kid's tickets is incorrect, stating the adult DD price. Hopefully the email is wrong and DD are set up correctly.

It’s futile really. If the guy says he attends games then take his word for it. If he did provide the evidence you require would you apologise to him for calling him out?claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 7:53 amYeah sure post your season ticket purchases and loyalty points, just screen shot them onto here.

I have 1280 loyalty points (forgot what it was before the cutoff date was changed) and have attended about 8 games this season - five I paid for, a few on others' tickets.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 7:53 amYeah sure post your season ticket purchases and loyalty points, just screen shot them onto here.

I didn't renew my ST 2 years ago because I couldn't commit to it with other life plans and have had a ST on and off (mainly on) since about 1996

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
Well that's next season jinxed.
On the plus side we will be decent odds to get relegated

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
I might have read something wrong but in the past early bird renewal meant a discount price and guaranteed to keep your seat. This season it just means you keep your seat unless you want to swap on 22 April.
Like other greedy clubs they’ll be saying there is a massive waiting list and they’ve had record take up on the increased prices. Looking at clubs like forest, their fans have been shafted good and proper.

I imagine that’ll creep up to maybe 15,000 with annual payers leaving it till the last minute to renew. Good effort if we can get 15,000.
Anyone remember what it was last season in the Championship?

I think 15k was about the limit.
3k walk ons needed.
2k for corporate
2.2k for away fans
Fag packet maths is 22.5k so a bit of wiggle room
21.5k capacity

They told someone last week it was 12k sold, but that was including everyone who paid by direct debit the year before and hadn't told the club they were cancelling.
Most would just cancel the DD.

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
I think this year we had 16,500 ST holders so 15,000 would be a reduction on that, but if the waiting list really is 2,000 then my 15,000 projection could be topped up by them. If I’d been waiting a year to get a ST I’d take the chance when it arrived.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 10:22 amI think 15k was about the limit.

It really feels like basically everyone who hasn't been stopped by personal circumstances has renewed. I think that's a fantastic show of support and will hopefully stop idiots chuntering about plastic/Premier League fans.

When you look through the Matchday threads it’s quite often very clear that the most negative don’t attend matches. Or aren’t season ticket holders, anyway.
From match going fans at home and away games I don’t hear any of the negativity I read on here.
