We are loads better than these and making it show.

Good fun seeing Brereton spinning around without a hope of stopping Assignon

I pray the two appeals hearings add back on the points they had deducted from the initial decision.

I’m following via a mix of commentary on Talksport 2 and Sky Soccerlab. Unfortunately Tim Sherwood is the person watching on the latter and fair to say his usual anti-Burnley views coming through. According to him Sheff I have “totally dominated Burnley but are 2-0 down”. From the match commentary it’s sounded like nothing of the sort with the game pretty even.

Foster blasts over after a cross from Cullen but Charlie was unmarked at the back post.

We gave away min of 10 points from winning positions before Christmas of our own doing, we could easily have been out of it before now. Can't blame recent performances on us not being out

Berge best player on the pitch by an absolute mile, we need to get him driving from midfield.

Low fee of 5m euro's, we could do a swap with weghorst.

Brownhill or, against this lot, even Amdouni

Berge and Muric were excellent in that first half. Berge has been the best player on the pitch, for either side, by streets and streets. Has he lost the ball yet? Such an elegant, composed player who's got better and better as the season has progressed.

we rode our luck before we scored they could have been 2 up but we deserve a bit of luck, next goal is critical hopefully it's us that score it.

Muric & Berge standout players first half, all be it a poor quality game.
Avoid conceding a stupid goal in the first 10 mins and we should be able to put this beyond them.
Need to play on the front foot though, and I’d still be tempted to bring Brownhill on for Odobert

Story of the first Half for me was:

First 20 mins - we dominated possession but created little.
Next 10/15 mins - we started getting sloppy with possession and Sheffield Utd started pumping balls into the box causing us a few issues

Then we scored from the first time Odobert didn’t lose the ball through a lucky deflection and then they fell apart for the second and we reverted to how we played the first 20 mins until half time.

That's what happens when former players are given media jobs purely on the basis they are former players. How is Sherwood qualified to speak about football? Yes he's played it, but that doesn't mean he's good at speaking about it. Fella can barely string a sentence together, relies on over the top clichés and unfortunately he's joined by many others of the same ilk.

See journalist James Horncastle speaking about Atalanta recently, pitch side at Anfield. Articulate, measured and knowledgeable.
