Re: So who's renewed their ST?
Do we need to take any action as yet if we pay by Direct Debit ?
The initial statement issued some time ago stated that we do not need to take any action 'At this stage'.

I just had a look now … a lot of them seem to be singles … you think it might just be a lot of the seats that were left when everyone has put their seats together ?Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 1:08 pmSeason Tickets are back on sale.

We have always had lots of single seats in the ground, it's always been a big problem. The Shire Claret wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 1:31 pmI just had a look now … a lot of them seem to be singles … you think it might just be a lot of the seats that were left when everyone has put their seats together ?

But there's quite a lot of blocks of 4 or more available.

Looking at the plan on the club website it's looking like the cricket field stand is full again,I knew there was a waiting list has my mates on it so I presume any seats that haven't renewed have been taken up straight away

Our group has bought an additional ticket near us to secure the ticket. But was just wondering if swaps had finished for previous season ticket holders to know if any seats closer to us may come up we can swap to. Or whether non renewals have been released yet.

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
I’ve just had a look through and about what I’d have expected. All blocks bar the CFS have availability, but most of the better blocks are singles only with the wings being the main place you can get more than one seat.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 1:08 pmSeason Tickets are back on sale.

Will be interesting how they sell from here given the ‘waiting list’. I imagine a lot may wait for confirmation of which league we’re in now, or until nearer the season starts if they’re full payers, but if I were a family or a few mates looking for tickets together I’d be getting a hurry on.
Re: So who's renewed their ST?
Can still swap seats, they told me to ring up when wanting to swap/purchase another to pair with mineTurftalker wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 9:15 pmSo have seat swaps finished now for season ticket holders?

I've renewed and changed seats slightly ......... just need to reduce the distance to the Turf now. For the last 35 years it has been 280 miles away.... House on the market (again) in May. Looking for somewhere within 1 hour drive of BB10.

I've just looked to buy another near me and it was the same price as mine so going off previous years I presume that's it. Unless they haven't updated the system..........
Re: So who's renewed their ST?
When are they going to come on public sale or will it be sales to members only from now on? I assume not as a season ticket holder has, from what I remember, all the benefits of a member.

Wonder whether they reserve the walk ons or every seat not taken by a ST is now showing as available?
In some ways would make sense to reserve some for walk ons so there’s an even spread of availability of stands on match day.

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
all the available seats showing now will be all seats not taken by season ticket holders, they will be a limit to how many season tickets they can sell to allow for so many walk-ons. Once that figure is met they will end sales.NewClaret wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 11:53 amThat would make sense from what quickenthetempo has said then.

Looking at getting me & my lad a season ticket each in the Jimmy mc Upper.
There is 2 tickets available front row, but there is a reserved seat in the middle.
What do you think the chances of the person in said reserved seat swapping with us on matchdays so I can sit next to my lad?
Don't want to be trekking all the way up to the back of the stand with him for any of the other available seats

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
Possibly they would ask on your behalf (if you caught someone at the club on a good day). I can't imagine they would give you the person's details due to data protection regulations.
You could however start a thread on here (titled the seat and row number in question) asking if anyone knows who sits there. Bit a long shot but could be worth a try.
Coincidentally, my nephew, his dad and grandad also sit on the front row of the Jimmy Mc Upper and have done for years. Pretty central to the stand. Happy to ask them on the off chance they might know.
Edit - just realised you weren't the original poster, but message goes out to them as well

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
Last year, a guy bought a ST at the end of our row and we had the next 4. He bought a ST for his 9yr old lad on the 5th.
He asked the club to contact us to arrange a move, but they never.
We sorted it between ourselves on the first game.

STs are now on general sale and the same price.
So no early bird price. They kept that one quiet.
It doesn't look like the 2500 waiting list stuck around either.

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
Turning the early bird into the standard price and removing the old standard price would have the effect of making a much bigger difference between STH and walk ons. Which in turn creates the argument for a huge rise the season after next, if we get promoted again.
Sorry, I know it is a depressing observation, but it is something I am anticipating.

They run a club on loans which costs 10% more on everything. They will pass that on to fans every year.

I’ve just had a look at the seat map and nearly every block bar the wings are singles only. I haven’t counted them up but most blocks just have a few singles. Imagine we’re looking at 250-500 left at a guess.
That means they must reserve some for walk ons and take them off the system… in which case my guesstimate is 250-500 more to sell out, which would be a brilliant effort.
Re: So who's renewed their ST?
That is a sensible post, NewClaret.

The chances of anyone wanting to sit between a dad and lad talking across him for 23 games are negligible. Would you?Nickwilks7 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 9:54 pmLooking at getting me & my lad a season ticket each in the Jimmy mc Upper.

Reminds me of how to get family seats together on a plane. If grumpy old git sat next to your single seat won't move to let you have a pair, then you put the youngest child next to him and hand Mr grumpy a sick bag, suggesting he moves fast if the child goes quiet, because it goes everywhere! He'll move.

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
Tried my best to avoid becoming a seat counter but have finally joined the club.
366 left.
BL - 83 (3 rows with anything more than singles)
JM - 81 (all singles)
Longside - 202 (16 rows where >1 seat available)
If you know people deliberating and hoping to sit together, I’d recommend they get a hurry on.
Fantastic effort clarets.

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
Are we sure the club haven’t shown that the seats taken on the stadium plan have actually renewed?
What I mean is they may still have them as taken whilst current ST holders are deciding on renewing or not?
If these figures are current and based on actual sales then indeed it is a remarkable show of loyalty.

- We have a max number of STs we can sell as regulations require us to retain some tickets for walk ons (I slightly disagree with this, but anyway).
- We reserve that many, presumably spread across the ground but wouldn’t shock me if the more premium/saleable seats take precedence, and blank them out on the seat maps.
- We sell the rest up to that amount. I think it’s 16,000 or 16,500. So we’re potentially over 16k already.
It’s that or we’re actually 366 away from being at full capacity

We do know we’ve sold 15,000 though which is fantastic given we’re almost certainly going to be in the Championship next year. If we beat Spurs I reckon they’d be gone before Forest
