Unlikely. Forest will beat Sheff Utd tomorrow you’d expect, which will put them 3 points clear and with a superior goal difference. Luton would then probably need to win their last two and even then wouldn’t be guaranteed to stay up.

They’ve failed to beat an Everton side with little to play for tonight and that’s now just 1 win in 15 games.

Forest are the very clear favourites to stay up.
Not disagreeing but the Blades have won 10 points at home and Forest have won 10 points away.

Luton will drop now, but tomorrow could go very differently than many expect. Unlikely, but “very clear” are not words I’d use.

Not a terrible result for us. Everton were awful but defended resolutely, fortunately.

I still fancy Luton to stay up with their games.
Luton wont get a point in their last 2

Absolute shite ref a total homeblower how he allowed the mugging on Young for the Luton goal is beyond me.Luton did the usual alehouse brawler tactics constant fouling with the inept fool of a ref ignoring them.
Sean's tactics second half were a disgrace clearly any sympathy for our plight is non existent as Everton played for a draw.
It reminded me of why we sacked him.

If Villa beat Brighton on Sunday and Spurs lose to Liverpool it leaves Spurs them unable to get into 4th place so nothing to play for against us so we'll breeze past them. That's the optimist in me :D

Huge result for us tonight, a real blow for Luton, they looked demoralised at the final whistle. Praying to the football gods for a remarkable day tomorrow.

On what evidence do you think we will beat Newcastle or Tottenham?

Luton have hot away with it on numerous occasions this season, their equaliser at the Turf being a classic example.

How’s it in our hands? Surely we need Forest to lose.

Never thought that coming into last 3 games our future would be in our own hands A very very tough ask but remember when Leeds pipped us from an almost impossible position. Can’t see Forest losing tomorrow or us winning but who knows !!!

In a weird way I’m really not arsed about being relegated, last season was great and I’ve been resigned for months. But it’s great we’ve actually found ourselves in a position where these games really matter. On the flip side, the few points that we’ll probably end up falling short by will be a bit of a kick in the teeth as far as a missed opportunity goes.

May not need it if Forest lose to Chelsea at home, even if they (and us) win tomorrow.

That win for Chelsea last night was vital, takes hope from Spurs but means Chelsea are still fighting for 7th and Europe.

Same here. I feel VK is very stubborn at times and if we did survive I’d not want he going away in the summer thinking he for it right. For the most part, we’ve been dreadful.

Relegation could be used to regroup and have another go like we did with SD.

Great to see all of the optimism return. However even if all results go our way this weekend the elephant in the room of the points restoration still lurks. I do wonder to what extent part of the overall outcome was for the PGMOL to demand Clattenburg's departure from Forest as he was clearly a serious and knowledgeable thorn in their side and was clearly undermining the current crop of officials. The late announcement of his departure possibly pushed the decision into next week and given the unusual silence from Forest suggests the outcome could be in their favour. Normally when matters are not to their liking their dissatisfaction quickly finds its way into the public domain.

I tend to agree with this.

It won’t sit well with me if we go down as a result of cheats getting away with it, in our case twice…! Everton two seasons ago, only punished this season, and Forest this season should that happen.

It's definitely needed now we are effectively relegated if we fail to beat spurs & that alone might not be enough as things stand unless it's decided to dock forest more points.
