Bromley????

Hardly known for football! Not even Kent nowadays! Stolen by Greater London!

The Bromley boys is a good film as are the Dave Roberts’s books that I’ve read. Another long journey for the NW clubs like Morecambe, Barrow and Carlisle.

It's time to split the Div 2 into North and South as was mooted a couple of yrs ago.It was formally like this in the 50s before the creation of Div 3 and 4

I live in Bromley. Trust me, we regard it as Kent

And I had a brilliant day out at Wembley today. Okay, it wasn’t as good as 2009, but it was still great.

Their captain was wearing an EFL armband as he stepped up to take the deciding penalty

Not sure if that confidence, arrogance, plain shithousery or combination of them all but it paid off

Played Rugby against Bromley back in the day. Fair play to them.

Fantastic achievement, a friend of mine was there today with his family and it's great to think about the elation they will all be feeling this evening, through the summer and into next season.

I don't think the gap between The National League and League Two is anything like as cavernous as the gap between The Premier League and The Championship has become, so I suspect they will have a great time next season and beyond!

The National League “North” is getting ridiculous with the cash power of the South.
The likes of Blyth Spartans, Spennymoor Town and Darlington having to travel to Brackley Town, Hereford, Peterborough, Kings Lynn, Gloucester and Bishops Stortford and vice versa.
Don’t even get me started on where the f*ck is Rushall Olympic?

Good for them. Don't know much about them but surely a great achievement.

I didn't even realise they had a football team. The only thing I know about Bromley is from the early punk scene with the Bromley Contingent that followed the Sex Pistols

I used to live nearby and would occasionally go to watch them when they first got promoted to the National League.

They've built patiently and now have a decent fan base. Would expect they'll be able to consolidate themselves in the EFL with more potential to grow in a big catchment area.

They'll have to rip up their pitch now though and replace with grass.
