For those suggesting we played inferior teams, the nearest patch of 10 games I can find for Trafford is Nov - December.

We played Palace, Arsenal, West Ham, Sheff U, Wolves, Brighton, Everton, Fulham Liverpool and Villa, so 3 top six teams conceding 16 goals and picking up 7 points.

Muric has played Brentford, Chelsea, Wolves, Everton, Brighton, Sheff U, Man U and Newcastle, so 1 top six conceding 12 goals and picked up 10 points.

We have absolutely missed the Muric-Tella combo. No doubt about it.

In Summary not that much to say changing the GK would have revolutionised our outcome.

Any one off game stat isn't going to paint a full picture like - my point with it was for a keeper to create two chance (one key chance) in a game is quite remarkable; you won't find many doing that, which is why he is such an incredible player.

As for JBG - he should have played many more minutes than he has done this season, imo.

We seemed to have created fewer chances than we have wingers in our squad.

I watched Tella play in the flesh on Sunday. He looks to have come on leaps and bounds for Leverkusen. He was absolutely tormenting the left hand side of Eintracht.

Beat the full back on a number of occasions and got a dangerous ball in. Was really unlucky not to score too.

Leverkusen for me are the best team in Europe at the minute, what a move that's been for him.

And some people keep on saying he wouldn’t have been able make the step up to the premier league .. but we gambled 19 m on Trafford who hadn’t even played in the championship

The red herring is the trafford/muric debate that's a few points murics way but tella that's a few points in addition. You start with muric & sign tella you make the difference. We did neither. Both opportunities were missed. Factor in forests points deduction in my opinion they'd be needing a win against Chelsea & we would be travelling up to north London more relaxed but keeping a watchful eye elsewhere.

Tella not to sure , yes he was great last season and he knows where the net is but we will never know if he could produce in this team . .

Well Tella has produced for the best team in the Bundesliga at a similar level to last season in the championship.
5 goals and 3 assists in 730 mins for Leverkusen.
17 goals and 5 assists in 2500 mins for Burnley in the championship.
