Not sure Tresor is the answer in such an important half coming up

Re: totteringham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
A lot to admire about how we played. Lovely goal too. But as soon as we scored we looked absolutely terrified, again. We are great till a goal goes in at either end, it's bizarre!
Re: totteringham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
However, overall passing accuracy is 79%.THEWELLERNUT70 wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2024 3:52 pmMuric currently at h/t
Pass accuracy 63%
Long Pass accuracy 40%
Shocking![]()
And it's 1-1.

Yet today so far Muric pass accuracy is way above the levels our other keeper has consistently achieved this seasonblatherwickstattoos wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2024 3:54 pmWho do you replace him with? Oderbert gave the ball away more

Re: totteringham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Got in about five minutes after kick off and only just realised before half time that Odebert was playing???
Re: totteringham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Not sure what you have against Odobert but he had a neat half, his defensive work and pass set Foster away at the end, his cross for Vitinho header was a beauty too.blatherwickstattoos wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2024 3:54 pmWho do you replace him with? Oderbert gave the ball away more

Tottenham have now conceded the opening goal in 12 of their last 16 matches. They often come on strong in the second half of matches.
Re: totteringham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Muric had an incredibly poor half, not sure why you’re trying to argue that, I thought even the most avid Muric fan would likely admit that.THEWELLERNUT70 wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2024 3:57 pmYet today so far Muric pass accuracy is way above the levels our other keeper has consistently achieved this season

These aren’t that good. If we had pace we’d be smashing them

I’d say Berge, O’Shea, JBL and Odobert have been our best players so far today

Re: totteringham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Fortunately none of Aro's dodgy passing has cost us. Reset at HT and swap out Vitinhho for Benson or Guddy and swap players around.
Re: totteringham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
O'shea shares some blame for the equaliser - too slow to cover, we have experience of giving Porro time to pick a shot

Hope Aro has his boots on the right feet this half.
Re: totteringham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Vitinho is there for his pace so he can get back when Assignon gets forward. Benson wouldn't do that so we would either have two players up top and nobody back to defend or Assignon would have to stay back.

Not really, I suggest you go back through the records for Trafford this season before commenting, which you clearly haven'tLincsWoldsClaret wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2024 4:01 pmYou’ve put yourself in that bracket with that incorrect comment

Quite correct but we need to win not having a player just to help out

Re: totteringham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
Is anyone else finding it dreadful viewing at Spurs stadium when the sun shines? It's really hard to track the play
Re: totteringham versus MIGHTY CLARETS
If we win and Luton win or draw they are still above us and they have Fulham home the last match. If we win and Luton lose we go above them so it is in our own hands then, I think.blatherwickstattoos wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2024 4:10 pmLuton winning though doesn’t really matter (I don’t think)

All spurs. We need to frustrate them while they're so energetic.

We need to do what we did at Chelsea. Keep the buggers out and hit them on the break.

Yeh, fight alone won’t do it today. We will need some brilliance. The players who can do it need to come on at some point.

A mistake from their keeper would do!
