Re: So who's renewed their ST?
Was curious if relegation had had any impact on ST sales one way or the other. Answer: not much.
319 left. 47 more sold.
Very limited seats together left.

be more empty seats tho, i suspect some have renewed out of habit, but based on their disgust and lack of support this season that they wont be attending again.

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
You really think there are people out there that are disgusted with the club but will happily pay for next season despite knowing they aren't going to go to any games ?
I bet the number of people doing this is lower than 2

there must be, the amount of complaining about prices, performance, ownership, engagement, transfer policy, road works near the turf, yet the number of season tickets hasn't dropped. it doesn't correlate.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 1:53 pmYou really think there are people out there that are disgusted with the club but will happily pay for next season despite knowing they aren't going to go to any games ?

My thoughts exactly ... I am so disgusted with this season I have bought a season ticket for next just to "not use it" to teach em a lesson

Ahh you are making the mistake I used to make, so you presuming some of the noisiest go to games

If you aren't on twitter don't go on. It is a million times worse on there, there are even bellends who pay for a blue tick in the hope they are taken more serious.

So you're saying that people pay good money for something that they say is too expensive, not entertaining, annoying, frustrating, and don't agree with the ownership? And they pay it and still keep going anyway?

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
Lads, i've renewed.
Mainly to make sure i've a ticket for the derbies, and tbh ST price v walk on's with family able to use it when i can't, it ended up being a no brainer.

I had another look late last night and whilst not bothering to count they’re ticking down faster than I expected, particularly given we’re now relegated and the seats are mainly singles.

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
Aye had to go for my same seat from this season, and the one directly in front for the u18's one ill be using for nieces and nephews etc. Both end of a row by the steps so not as bad as might be really.
Mate was thinking about one to take his nephew on too so thought i might as well get one and let him use it when i don't

Re: So who's renewed their ST?
Seems like the increase In season ticker holders over the last few years coincides with the increase in match day ticket prices.
Guessing that's a trend which is matched at a lot of clubs, may as well get a season ticket rather than paying for individual tickets which if you go to more than about 7 games will work out as cheaper in the long run.

This. If i make 10 games, i pretty much break even.
Re: So who's renewed their ST?
We travel 2 and a half hours each way. We have renewed and looking forward to more wins at home next season than this season. We like our seats, we are friendly with all supporters around us, who in fairness just like us have been in the same seats for probably over 15 years. Of course we get annoyed, disappointed, frustrated and angry but road works do that to even the mildest mannered driver..... oh and the football well if you are born a Burnley Supporter that's your DNA and equally it is mine for life good and bad. With the added value of having the same seat and not having to go through the hassle of buying individual tickets. No brainer but not good for the casual fan who just wants to attend as and when they can

True, but it is a finite resource, at the end of the day. you reach a point where the casual fan has to sh*t or get off the pot

While there is a tendency (most especially amongst the people themselves) to believe that those people who rant and rave on internet sites constitute a large body of opinion, in reality it is just the opposite. Considered as a proportion of the whole, the only thing which their numbers perhaps exceed is their relevance; small men (predominantly) making a lot of noise.
Not that I want them to stop; much better that they rant, hector and bully on here where they're easily ignored, than to have them do likewise out in the real world where our grannies or kids might hear them too.

I think you can do it online, at time of payment, however, as mine is nowadays automatic, you would have to follow the online process. If at the end, it does not offer DD, then ticket office phone call. If it does allow, Bob confirmed as your uncle.bigdavethemaddog wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 11:36 pmQuestion - if buying a new season ticket and paying by direct debit, can it be done online or does it have to be in the ticket office?

I wouldn't trust the ticket office numbers to be honest with how they sell tickets.
It's highly likely they have taken seats away to make fans think there's not many left, and they need to buy.

Quite possibly. Wouldn’t surprise me to see more come back on sale but basically there’s only 2-3 blocks in the whole ground now with more than singles (block 1 longside upper, BL wings and think they’re restricted viewing) so if you’re looking to go with mates or family I wouldn’t be risking that and would buy asap.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 11:26 pmI wouldn't trust the ticket office numbers to be honest with how they sell tickets.

I couldn’t remember if it was 16k or 16.5k that’s the maximum ST sales we can have, but if we’ve sold 16k it must be higher than that with these 200-odd to sell.
Think we’ve sold more than our last championship season anyway.
