Moyes as DOF.
Still as Head Coach (being overseen by the Ribchester Ancelotti)

Sorted.

I just can’t see past OGS. Available, on the look out for the right club, has the warm and fuzzy loyal feeling about him, the media love him and as the ex United manager has a big enough profile for investors to know of him. He’s got the big club knowledge, proven that he can bring the feel good factor back, admittedly short term but also been successful with a smaller club with a smaller budget.

It feels like he would tick a lot of Alan’s boxes

Still has been linked with the Sunderland job and apparently is a done deal

Believe it’s just a case of waiting for the confirmed announcement

Surely it's going to be another "name" to carry the brand on that the Yanks want.
Hope so, the last one work out well, walked the championship, won the title at B@stards, brought the average age of the squad down, we've got some valuable assets to sell in the future and he's hopefully brought in a manager transfer fee in of around 15/20m....... Plus one terrible season

Danny Rohl linked to Norwich and several other championship and bundesliga clubs.
Rooney linked to Plymouth.
Cooper turned Norwich down according to reports.

Bellamy -
Continuity
Knows the players
Knows the system
Knows the project
Available
And CHEAP

So highly likely - but would be an uninspiring appointment.

OGS No Thanks
Bellamy No

Potter, Moyes, Edwards would be my preference if possible and then possibly Cooper due to his playing style and working with younger players. There may be some rising manager from Europe but definitely not a ‘name’ that is all talk with no substance or record.

You talk nonsense, we had one of the best Championship sides ever absolutely dominating sides, any lower league side we played in the cup we hammered them and showed the levels. The hoofball was lower league style football so we struggled, I remember other hoofball managers would just allow Dyche sides to cluelessly have the ball.

OGS … wtf … what has he done in management. He would have been nowhere near the united job only for Ferguson made the decision. Before that some lower league foreign club. We need stability … good coaching … someone with the necessary experience. This is not the time for a punt on someone.

Moyes was mentioned a couple of days ago, but I can't see him dropping to the Championship. Dyche was the same. Dyche would have got plenty of offers, but he waited. Hope I'm wrong, though. I would love to see Moyes here.

The heart says it isn't a bad shout, but the head says he has zero coaching experience. Together with Cooper (or any manager for that matter), likely wanting to bring in the assistant and coaches he has worked with in the past.

It’s football management not Love Island.
If good looks was a criteria then you can rule out Moyes too.

Wonder how much Leonardo Di Caprio knows about transitioning through the lines and the use of high wing backs.
As someone else put it, he looks stoned most of the time. I was just trying to say there’s something about him I can’t warm to, not that he’s not a good manager or that looks are important.

I hope its Moyes, (Moyes is NW based and a Christian, both might help) on a three year contract.

Steady the ship, put a proper modern football structure in place. Get us back up and keep us there.

Then in three years, he can Semi retire into a DoF position.

Cooper or Moyes for me
