Did you deliberately name people who should not be the next manager or is that really the best America has to offer?CharlieinNewMexico wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 5:30 amYou do realize America is a very large piece of land that has a North, Central and South? So you’re ruling out Bielsa and numerous other Hispanic and/or Brazilian managers.
Unless you mean the United States of America. In which case you’re just ruling out Dean Smith, Gerardo Martino, Frank de Boer, Ruud Gullit, Patrick Viera, Thierry Henry, Carlos Quieroz, etc.

Steve Kean.
Although, in fairness, he's a man held in high regard to all Clarets, of a certain age, for the work he did elsewhere

From? Or have worked in. Because clearly you are obsessed with Ted Lasso and don’t realize many top coaches find their feet here.SalouClaret wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2024 11:06 amI'd usually agree; but I can't deny that managers from America, sorry, the United States of America, are shite![]()

I don’t think I can really comment on someone that doesn’t have at least a minimal (let’s say 11plus as it used to be called) grasp of geography

Anybody who wants to scrap what we've got and start again.
We have a lot to be positive about, a couple of key players, and a manager who can organise us, especially defensively, and we'll be reyt.
To start again could kill us as a team and financially.
