Leeds v Southampton
Who's your money on with this?
I quite fancy Saints to do the business today.
So that's the kiss of death.

Heart for Southampton, head for Leeds. I feel Leeds will be a better opponent in the Championship next season.

Re: Leeds v Southampton
Sure I read that if Leeds don’t go up then they have to sell £100m of their players so for that reason alone, Saints for me

Obviously cannot ever want the world's biggest and greatest club to win but probably be better if they do then they're out of the way next season

Re: Leeds v Southampton
I live in Hampshire and would like an easy away trip St Mary's next season (to add to the promoted teams Portsmouth and Oxford decent trips)- so Leeds win would be fine for me.
I think Saints will win though- despite Leeds being bookies favourites (5/4 versus 11/5).
It'd be a nice consolation to missing a St Mary's trip next season to see a load of crying Tykes at 17.00 today.

It's unique.

I've never forgiven the Southampton fans for attacking the disabled section at Saint Mary's in 2009 to the extent that the chap who I used to look after was so scared he never went to an away game again! ( I got hit by a large bottle opener where if I'd not been wearing sunglasses I'd have probably lost my right eye )
F*CK 'em!

What a pass from Smallbone, through the Leeds tunnel. Tidy finish from Armstrong.

Re: Leeds v Southampton
Southampton is an easy away game for me to get to but I can see Leeds losing a lot of players if they don't go up. Summerville could leave as he is too good for this division and Gnonto might want away as well. Plenty of teams sniffing round Gray.

Re: Leeds v Southampton
Was that at the last game of the season when they were relegated to the third tier? I found that quite unnerving. They’re a rough lot in Southampton but not as rough as they are in Leeds. Come on Southampton!THEWELLERNUT70 wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 3:21 pmLeeds for me but I have my reasons.

Sixth time in playoffs for DL and they’ve never been promoted. Let’s hope it stays that way.

How many times did it take before Preston managed it?

Leeds have completely run out of ideas
Re: Leeds v Southampton
Didn't realise Will Smallbone suffered from alpoceia as is the case Adam Chaplow. Apparently he's an ambassador for Alpoceia UK.

Re: Leeds v Southampton
THB breaking the lines very well. Armstrong been a massive handful. Second goal obviously huge as if Leeds get it I can see momentum taking them over the line.
Re: Leeds v Southampton
Leeds look to have too many flair players and no scrappers/leaders. Great when things are going well but they've been awful today.

Re: Leeds v Southampton
It's shocking the number of empty seats in the corporate section.
Who on earth thought it a good idea to put it opposite the cameras ?

Re: Leeds v Southampton
After focusing on Archie Gray the camera switched to the stands and, I believe, Eddie Gray. The French commentator had no clue who he was.
Was it Eddie (Gray)?
God how he ripped us apart.

They did give Eddie a close up at one point. Some family of ‘ballers there.
