Re: Next manager
Who’s to say Lampard hasn’t learnt from his experiences, or Parker for that matter. Not saying I’d choose either of them personally, but if they are selected I’ll support the team and wish them well.
Re: Next manager
Bellamy now 8/1 with Sky Bet, Bellamy with Jackson as number 2 and bring in another coach like it was reported we were looking at the other week. Could explain why his departure hasn’t been announced.

Re: Next manager
Bellamy 6/1 now, CT said he had left and another poster said you can take what CT says to the bank with you so who knows
Re: Next manager
7/2 and now second favourite with sky bet, I do wonder….
Re: Next manager
Pretty sure CT is correct that Bellamy left but obviously this has since happened so maybe the decision has been re-considered. He could still apply for the job either way.
That being said I haven't heard the greatest things about Bellamy behind closed doors either- hardly surprising given his reputation, and he's definitely not someone I would want as manager.

Re: Next manager
I don't want either but what would make me feel better about them is if we knew whether they'd used their time out of work (1 year+) to study the game, observe better managers both here and abroad. Just learning from what went wrong last time (and the time before that, and the time before that) isn't enough.Rick_Muller wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 6:09 pmWho’s to say Lampard hasn’t learnt from his experiences, or Parker for that matter. I have a suspicion that neither will have.

I'd vote for giving this set up a try. Better than Failed Frank or Pony Parker.

Who the heck is Bo Henriksen, just popped into the Sky odds at 16/1?
Re: Next manager
He likes to rotate his team but he's in charge, he picks the players. He's the Bo Selecta.

Could someone set up a fans choice thread vote as to who they want as our next manager...you know them vote icons and gives you the percentage etc...I personally don't have a clue but I'll vote LAMPARD all the way, for knowledge, prestige, attracting bloody good players who he knows etc., managed Championship and EPL...he's a bloody universal legend putting Burnley on the map...I'm sure the Watts would be happy as well.

I know I’ll employ the guy that nearly relegated Everton and put Chelsea on what seemed like a 15 game losing streak, bingo!

Next manager betting markets at this stage of the process are really not a good indicator of the next manager and shouldn’t be taken at face value.123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 8:41 pmPeople are backing Bellamy, I think it’s crazy to even think Bellamy could be the manager
