This guy is a credit to himself and the club, he says all the right things at the right time and oozes positivity

That's the American can-do, positive attitude that I do love to hear - we could all (myself included) try and see be a bit more positive.

There’s not much not to like about JJ Watt, from what I’ve seen.

I'm sure he means well, but you can see he's never dealt with a manager leaving before. Posting videos talking to us like we're a child after dropping an ice cream isn't needed.

JJ, managers leave all the time mate, we’re OK. Relax mate. This is the 30th time Burnley Football Club had had to do this. But I appreciate the communication

Some people just can't help themselves can they?

Wish our fan base had a bit more of his positivity

If he is, then let's hope that means we're ruling out Lampard and Parker!

I've reflected on this actually, he's addressing Twitter, isn't he.… who’s userbase is like children with empty ice cream cones.

People have been complaining about the lack of communication from the club. So he does this and still not reyt?

Claptrap, why do you feel the need to spout negativity at every opportunity. You've been doing it for years, but recently it's been on steroids.

Claptrap - He is addressing the fan base which covers all ages and so has given a universal message and unlike you wasn't trying to be a smartarse. I'm sorry it wasn't addressed to the intellectual elite exclusively like yourself.

So, in JJ’s defense, this is a nuance of English football that is new to him. NFL coaches dont move from one team to another, they are fired (and most of the time it is no surprise to anyone).

One thing I get with JJ is that he really doesn't seem like your typical PR polished guy. If a lot of this is just PR, he is just a natural at it.

Only someone with a real downer on the club at the minute could put a negative spin on that video.

That was the most interesting line in it.

Very much sounds to me like the ‘big names’ are not on the shortlist and it’s going to be someone more left field.

Excited and nervous about that in equal measure. Excited that we’re probably looking across world football to find the best young talent… and nervous about how that could work out if it goes wrong.

Think that’s Moyes, Knutsen, RVN and Lampard out of the frame.

Don't know the guy personally, he's either a dam good actor, or he seems a genuinely top bloke..

I'm 100% convinced it's the latter..

As always JJ Watt comes across fantastically. Why do we hear so much from him but not from the chairman?
