Re: Epitome of stupidity!
I am not one of the conspiracy nuts, but since the pandemic, the driving here in Michigan has become unbearable.
People pull out in front constantly, change lanes with no signal and then scream at whoever hits the horn at them.
I was offered out to fight by a severely overweight older gentleman leaving costco when he gunned through a stop sign to beat me and my van.
I was severely tempted, got to be honest, but I would have undoubtedly faced a gun once I pulled over.
People are absolute morons on the roads these days and the fact that this idiot did not realize that being remotely on camera for his court case for not having a driving licence , at his court case does not surprise me in the least.

Re: Epitome of stupidity!
I passed my Driving Test on the 23rd July 1981 ( 42 years, 10 months and 8 days ago ) ... two days after Botham and Willis's heroics at Headingley !!
My late father returned from holiday a week later, and sat me down ...
" Three pieces of advice ... firstly, you're now only beginning to learn how to drive, you've only passed a " Test " proving you can do the basics ! Secondly, remember a motorway is just a very fast " one way street ", you need to look 400-500 yards ahead, not 40-60 yards ahead ! " He paused, and looked over his shoulder to check Mum wasn't in hearing distance, and continued ... " Thirdly, assume everyone else on the road is a f***ing idiot ! "
I passed the same advice on to my own son, when he passed in 2004 ...

Barry Clarke of Regent Driving School Skipton told me this exact same thing when I was having lessons in 1975 ... Always remembered those immortal wordsClarets4me wrote: ↑Thu May 30, 2024 10:37 pm" Always assume everyone else on the road is a f***ing idiot ! "

Love the no nonsense approach of the judge. Over here, it probably wouldn’t have been noticed he was driving, and secondly, he’d get away with that Scott free…
