Re: Soccer Aid
Tbf it is a charity match and to some of the people watching £40 is some-at or nowt ... but I know what you mean
They push the donation number & £40 £30 £20 £10 all the time
Re: Soccer Aid
It's a lot for a donation for most people - was just the way he said it

He’s also that annoying tool off that McCain advert.
Re: Soccer Aid
Probably nothing to him but to some families that’s a lot of money when they’re struggling to put food on the table.
I think he certainly could have been more tactful in the way he said it.

Re: Soccer Aid
Just realised that Frank Lampard shares more than a passing resemblance to Eddie Hearn:
Re: Soccer Aid
Noticed Frank was giving a few words to his assistant he’s bringing with him, a certain Mr AC.
Re: Soccer Aid

Re: Soccer Aid
The Sacha stories about Ashley Cole do make me wonder whether that was for Frank not Robins.
As someone said below… we’ve been after a LB for a good while we could make him a player coach and kill two birds with one stone

Re: Soccer Aid
Hmm, a single appearance in a 'friendly' charity game against a team of other older ex-pros and a load of 'celebrities' means he could still do it at Championship level? Aye, right, any hope either of you may hold for being a scout just disappeared with those posts!alwaysaclaret wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2024 10:37 amA good pre season, he could still play championship level imo.
