The Tartan Army
Re: The Tartan Army
I'm English. I have no issues with Scotland. Spent some great holidays in Scotland. My second team is Stenhousemuir. Come on Scotland. However, they have been awful in this opening game and the tackle for the sending off was ring stone crescent Nelson.

I'd be resting Germany players if I were their coach. The game was won at 2-0.

Re: The Tartan Army
Scotland probably happy enough with this...its the only game in this group that theyd expect to struggle with....theyre happy to keep plenty in the tank for the knock out stages.
Lots of promising stuff in evidence despite the scoreline, and keeping Germany feeding on crumbs.

Re: The Tartan Army
Did Hanley not come on until the second half because he’s not allowed to appear on tv before the 9 pm watershed?

I want Scotland to do well. They’ve been really really poor in this game though.

Slightly ot but I really like the look of fullkrug. It’s refreshing to see that type of striker in the modern game.

He's brilliant. Proper archetypical German striker - built in the sort of Mario Gomez/Miroslav Klose mould.gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2024 10:07 pmSlightly ot but I really like the look of fullkrug. It’s refreshing to see that type of striker in the modern game.

He has superb technique too. He impressed me in the CL final to be fair which was the first time I’d seen him and was superb again tonight.CoolClaret wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2024 10:11 pmHe's brilliant. Proper archetypical German striker - built in the sort of Mario Gomez/Miroslav Klose mould.
