Problem with Belgium is they have a half decent, yet ageing 11
But nobody to make an impact from the bench

I think they can look quite artistic on the young, but anyone over forty with one just looks wrong, it’s a pity they don’t just wipe off. And why girls with them think they are cool I don’t know! Horrid. Still each to their own.
I'm 60 and I just think they look atrocious ... it's just me, perhaps

That bright blue dolphin tattooed on the washboard stomach of a 20 year old girl, is going to look more like a grey whale after the passage of 25 years and two children ! Tattoo removal will be a hell of a growth industry in the next 10-20 years ...

At Euro 2024, the official match ball from Adidas (called 'Fussballliebe') will have a chip in the centre that provides 'unprecedented insight' into the ball's movement.

The graphic looked like something out of a sci-fi movie from the 70's.

Hell of a chance missed by Austria but they should have had a corner.

I’m not actually sure France have been too good so far.

This is a pretty poor Austrian side and they have had the best chance of the game.

Still think the best team I’ve seen so far is Spain.

And partially as a result the ball ends up in the back of Austria’s net.

Just go back a page and see what you said about my post regarding the technology in the ball, and all you had to do instead of throwing insults at me was to Google a query and you would have found the answer.

Anyway on with the match,

I wonder why during the half time analysis none of the experts mentioned the mistake the ref made in not awarding the corner?

I think you’ve misinterpreted my post. I meant that the idea to have a chip in the ball that records micro-sounds or contact such as a ball brushing an arm was a load of b0llocks.

To be fair to Austria, they’re giving it a right good go but the French defence is pretty much dealing with everything.

You can see why Austria have been getting some surprise results, the French are far from making them look stupid; but the level of control the French are showing despite not having it all their own way is miles ahead of what England show when challenged.

Camavinga on as a sub with Zaire-Emery and Tchouameni still on the bench, frightening options in midfield were starting Trent in the middle and think we're favourites 😂

Not the best version of France yet but they'll get better. Immense squad. They'll turn over most if not all sides once they click through the gears after the groups.

Not the Fofana who was on loan at Burnley last season, if that’s what you’re inferring.

You think a Fofana that struggled for Burnley, and couldn't get in his parent side - would be starring for France in a Euro comp

Plus - he's IVORIAN

Hard to tell who the stand out team has been so far.

Only Germany and Spain have impressed but Germany were playing a non league side and Spain were up against a side where quite a few could play in the masters 5 a side games

Yes British bookies have us as favourites and many of here keep saying we have the best squad by far which is just complete rubbish.

Depending on the bookie, we are joint first or second favourite. This is pretty reasonable considering our ranking and squad. You might think those odds are too low, but it's hardly ridiculous.

I doubt anybody on here has said we have the 'best squad by far'. Most have said we have excellent attacking options with some question marks at the back, again reasonable.
