I'd put us behind France, Spain and Portugal and about level with Germany, but ahead of Italy, Netherlands, Belgium as part as the 'big guns' go.

Good game this, Southgate at fault for both goals though, what was he thinking?

Great game, no tippy tappy fannying about. Is Micah Richards going ten pin bowling after the game?

Very good game and well done to the commentators for remembering and pronouncing, particularly, the Georgian players names.

Fun ending to the game. Would've been funny if the ref had blown up just before Turkey's third.

Fantastic entertainment.

Fans are lunatics, atmosphere tremendous, both sides going for it, great goals and wonderfully chaotic finale.

Proper game of football and it will be hard for another game to reach that level of entertainment.

I think the low temps have helped make for decent games. Virtually all the games I've seen have been played at a fair old pace.

So hard on Georgia.

Depending on the bookie, we are joint first or second favourite. This is pretty reasonable considering our ranking and squad. You might think those odds are too low, but it's hardly ridiculous.

I doubt anybody on here has said we have the 'best squad by far'. Most have said we have excellent attacking options with some question marks at the back, again reasonable.
Been plenty of debate with people saying we've the best squad by far

Absolutely amazed that the Czech Republic have got to half time without conceeding,
Their passing is extremely sloppy leading to about 23% possesion...but they do look good at defending directly in front of their own goal

1-1 looked an easy take by the goalie but he chose to push it away and it rebounded in off his defenders legs.

My biggest niggle with modern football, after watching the EFL playoffs and the first round of matches here, is sides needing a goal still titty pattying it about and never creating a chance because they will not cross it into a crowded box.
Portugal have just got a fluke equaliser because they did just that. I hope more learn. Even at the highest level you can get a mistake or a lucky break.

Still rubbish as it completely ruins any goal celebration. What's the point of celebrating any goal these days?

Even though it was quicker, it still isn’t quick enough. The players celebrated with the fans then the goal was disallowed. It’s still shite.
