I reckon our next manager is sat on a beach somewhere reading a book with a glass of wine.

Chill folks.
Surely not ?

Managers won't take the Burnley job whilst Leicester is available, managers won't take the Sunderland job whilst the Burnley job is available
How attractive is the Leicester job with the pending points deduction? Take the Burnley job, win promotion , the manager might be in a much better position than getting relegated with Leicester? Then again said manager will get a better pay cheque and more media exposure.

So much to compute. Somehow don’t think that Pace has the same managers that Sunderland and Leicester are after on his list. Maybe using different AI.

We're all being linked with the same managers, Leicester haven't had any points deducted yet and a manager would still prefer a premier league job than championship if they put up a fight we Leicester they'll stay in the premier league with another club.
They could come to Burnley and have to oversee lots of outgoings and not get promoted.
No manager if offered both jobs would choose Burnley first

So we are now speculating that the new leader is working at the euros or olympics is some way shape or form.

Both Lampard and Fabregas are on bbc now.

Fabregas would be very interesting

I don’t think there’s a chance we get him but out of all the pundits so far during this euros, Fabregas stands out above the rest, the way he talks he is going to go seriously far as a manager if he wants to

Fabregas was a very intelligent footballer and understand the game well by the sounds of it . Would command respect too given the platform he performed on in his playing days

The way he talks, is not necessarily the way he talks to people. To be a good manager, you have to be good at the latter.

Well he’s hardly talking to himself as a pundit is he, he’s been analysing the games to other people hence giving me the opinion that I think he will go far as a manager.

Wouldn’t say being a great speaker makes you a good manager, biesla coaching Leeds through a translator for one

It's like a massive house buying chain. But once the Red Lion in Clitheroe find a new coach the domino effect begins.

I agree. Fabregas would be perfect, albeit a risk but the same can be said for pretty much like all the candidates.

I don’t see it though, there’s been no links whatsoever and particularly none to this Henrik Jensen chap who I’m convinced is the answer to all of this as I just cannot believe we’ve signed an assistant without them being chosen by the manager.

So I think it’s Bo Henriksen for sure.

Think Fabregas will manage Como in Serie A next season. He's been assistant to Osian Roberts but he's listed as being caretaker. Think Fabregas didn't have the full qualifications but think he will have now.

Fabregas does come across well and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he had a very good managerial career.

As for Bielsa, he spoke a lot more English than his assisted press interviews would suggest.

My comment about how a manager speaks, really was trying to state man management is more important than tactics when it comes to being a good manager.

The pundit who struck me as having the best grasp of tactics and clearest way of putting it across, was Slavan Bilic a few years ago. I wouldn't want him as manager, though.

The first real mention of RVN being linked to the job and also says he's impressed us. Also says Lampard is now out of the running for the job under the photo of him and Corberan seen as an outsider.

Yes I remember that pass, mostly for SSN putting it on a loop for 3 months.
Who ever gets the job will no doubt be a well thought out appointment.
Pace isn't a mug, he wants success as much as any Burnley fan.

Wonder if the translator had to shout as well. Can just picture Bielsa jabbing his finger at his centre half telling him to concentrate more and then the translator coming forward and doing the same thing but in English

Funnily enough we find ourselves in a similar position as Bayern. No manager of note wanted the job, VK was about 8th choice and perhaps the best of what was left so they took him on.
All the managers in the frame for us are holding out for a better appointment..Leicester etc but we are definitely not any of themselves first choice.

Other than Leicester job being in the premier league, what other jobs are managers holding out for? Are there some interesting jobs available across Europe to?

Potter will be waiting for the England job, for which he is favourite with Eddie close behind.

If I were him I’d take the Burnley job, the England job will go to FA luvvie Eddie I predict, who deserves it too.
