I find it hard to be an England fan sometimes. The fans are horrific (special mention to the cockney wide boys wearing St George fishing hats), our national anthem is about as inspiring as piles, our team crumble under pressure and as a rule, play appalling football (England vs Holland in 1996 was the last time I thought we were excellent) And pretty much the rest of the world hates us for being colonial toss*ers

Nah I'll not shut up thanks. Where did I say we should win every tournament? I don't expect us to win anything, quite the reverse. However I stand by the Holland game, perhaps I should've qualified by saying "in tournaments".

But aside from that I'll be as negative as I like cheers. The national anthem is appalling, and our fans are an absolute embarrassment.

Oh I totally agree, it is weird. In Scotland I get plenty of that thrown my way from the tartan army. And they seem to be offended I don't apologetically support scotland because of it!
