We’ve known we needed a new left back for the past 18 months.

I respectfully disagree…. Our previous manager didn’t want him, I certainly wanted him, and I’m sure there are plenty more fans who’d like him to stay. I’d like to think our new manager is smart enough to realise he’s a great left back, and actually use him. Trouble is, the longer we are managerless, the less likely we are to keep our good players and also bring in some new ones.
