Re: Euro 2024
I know he’s playing out of position, but Trippier has been shocking for half a season.
He should be nowhere near this team.

Re: Euro 2024
Laughably bad this.
There's literally acres of space down the left but because the two on the left both have the instinct to immediately cut inside it's not being exploited.
Absolutely dog sh1t Southgate - complete fraud of a manager.

Re: Euro 2024
I just can't believe how pathetic everything England do is.
We were favourites before the tournament weren't we? It baffled me then, it is beyond bizarre given how dismal we have been in all 4 games.

Do we have any genuine left-footers available?

Re: Euro 2024
Gordon for left wing, Saka has played left back earlier in his career.
Any other English left back that has played in the PL this season at left back would have been a far better option than Trippier at left back.

Despise everything about Southgate. His negative football, his inability to change a game.

Re: Euro 2024
People were laughed at by the 'pundits' for suggesting Southgate should have been potted after two games this tournament. He's a joke.

Ref was handing out cards for nothing in first 10/15. He’s now bottled every challenge since

I’m flying back to the US and following on here & the bbc…..I’m guessing we’re predictably awful.
Re: Euro 2024
Slovakia barely having to work to see this out. Easy peasy for them.
Re: Euro 2024
We are getting beat by a team who's manager wears a suit and white trainers.

Exactly this,he set the standard far too early and now can't keep up,otherwise there'd be no one on the pitch. Needs demoting.Conroysleftfoot wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 6:26 pmCan't believe why he's not handing out yellow cards like he did at the start.

20 minutes to go. Only 1 sub used. Southgate must be happy with what he’s seeing. Is anyone else? Strange!

Re: Euro 2024
Trippier playing LB then gets injured so Southgate put Saka at LB,what was the point of picking Shaw who hadn’t played for months might as well have taken Charlie Taylor.
Re: Euro 2024
At least after this game we won't have to torture ourselves and watch England any more.
