Best of luck to him, apart from if we play against them of course!

Re: ARTICLE: Peacock-Farrell in Birmingham move
A division above Birmingham now again so might be a while. He came in when Tom Heaton left and with Nick Pope already here. How good, or not so good, he was, the chances were never really around for him.
First and only Burnley goalkeeper, I think, I've seen make three substitute appearances in the same season.

A very good keeper, at his best, especially for NI. Career stranded because of far too many errors down to concentration mistakes.
Best wishes to him.

Thank you BPF. Little chance and yet you made the most of your opportunities and also did well in your loans.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Another off the pay roll. Good luck BPF
Re: ARTICLE: Peacock-Farrell in Birmingham move
This crossed my mind during the Muric love in on here, does Muric hold the record for the most substituted Burnley goalkeeper in a season / career? Can’t really think of a GK who has been subbed more than once.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 9:10 pmA division above Birmingham now again so might be a while. i believe he was one of five international GKs we had at one time.
he's never been quite good enough to break through but should be plenty good enough for Birmingham

Re: ARTICLE: Peacock-Farrell in Birmingham move
I always thought BPF was a perfect #2 keeper for us. Professional, went about his business professionally, never complained, seemed a nice guy, did well enough when he came in.
Would’ve preferred to see him stay and Vigeroux move on but totally understand him wanting playing time.
Happy for him he’s got his move but hope we did get an ok fee as he’s a good player and we shouldn’t be letting good players go cheaply.

One of those keepers that never seems to be in position to make a save without it always looking like a glaring error.
I don't know enough about the technicalities of goalkeeping but I imagine his positioning is pretty suspect and that's why his career trajectory seems to be going in the wrong direction.

One of those players in the “Vydra category”
Understandably, didn’t get a run of games as better players in front of him, but when he did start it always seemed to be in the inevitable Man City pumpings (I know he had other games)
He’ll do well there at that level

I can’t remember a time in the past when he had so many top goalkeepers on the books so no shame in not playing more for BPF.
Good luck to him for the future.

Re: ARTICLE: Peacock-Farrell in Birmingham move
I can't remember three in one season before and two of them were in successive games against Millwall and West Brom.
