Have we seen any images from pre season from the club in the last week or so.? I know a few were released early last week on the first couple of days back but not aware of any since. Havent seen any at all of the keepers ?
I think we forget that the guys who were on international duty will still be on their summer break.
A good number of the 1st team squad haven't returned yet...maybe when these players return we will hopefully have the new Head Coach/manager in situ...

I'm not sure they'll really care.
Seen a lot of Zaroury working out with a personal trainer on his Instagram in the weeks leading up to the preseason return last week. His motivation and spirits seemed high....

This is beyond a joke now. Players leaving or wanting to leave on a daily basis. When, if ever, are they going to announce a new manager?

I'd hope the coaches are doing all the necessary for a gruelling preseason, they know what's needed and if the players have the attitude of not caring then I hope we ship them out, it's their job to be fit and ready for the season

I’ve always been in the “trust the process” camp. Im now starting to become very worried. We’re not leaving much time for the new manager to come in, get their ideas across to the team, while overseeing a transfer window.

I wouldn't say we have players leaving or wanting to leave on a daily basis, but of an over reaction isn't it?
After last season it wasn't a surprise to see Muric wanting to leave, as for Taylor he didn't sign a contract, that's his choice. Trafford, we that depends on if we get the money.
It's already been stated we want to trim the squad from 40 to nearer 25/26 players

Just remember the manager could well be in situ behind the scenes overseeing pre-season and transfer activity. Just because its not been announced to uptheclarets doesn't mean Pace and the board are running around clueless with no plan in place.

Thierry Henry is not doing all of that while preparing France for the Olympics and we are not waiting until our season kicks off to have a manager in place. If I am wrong then it would suggest they are incredibly clueless.

Whoah there!

Think about it. If you go too fast you'll lose your gimmick.

Start bringing in a few decimal points or fractions to eek this out a bit longer, for crying out loud.

Have you missed me?

Seriously why would it be Bellamy?
If the board wanted to give it to Bellamy don't you think it would have happened about a month ago?

In my personal opinion (don't to be accused of anything) it won't be Bellamy and no manager has as yet turned down the position. I think the boards number 1 choice (whoever that may be) is still in play.

Mr back track now I see

A few days ago it was ‘either a manager employed or working at the euros’ and ‘I’ll give you a clue they aren’t working at the euros’

You’re not so confident now.

Your back tracking, you are now saying you are speculating, you spent a week on here with your wink emojis making out you know who it was all along and that it was a manager currently employed and now when a source on here who is usually bob on says it’s between Parker and Bellamy you start to back track.

At least Guller bull believes what you say

You obviously haven’t seen all the Instagram vids of our players having private training sessions all over the summer. From the looks of those, a good bunch of them are very motivated to stay fit.

I also think to expect them not to care about getting fit for the season ahead is massively underestimating their levels of professionalism.

Just dont let things cause you too much stress that you cant effect? When the club announce a manager it will be done, and then we all get behind the manager and the team, not that hard really...

I am under no way a bully, I have had many good discussions on UTC but when posters try and act like they have more information than others and almost take pleasure in acting like they know what’s going on when in fact they don’t.

Come on here and speculate all you want that’s what makes a the forum what it is but what posters are doing isn’t speculating they are coming on acting like they know facts

Over the years there have been a small number of vocal posters who could start an argument in an empty room.

Many of those usernames are no longer on here but there seems to be approximately the same amount of these types, either it's a coincidence or they are the same people.

I wonder 🤔

I did say that posters on here needed to calm down about the appointment taking so long but even I am hoping that this is resolved by the beginning of next week at the latest.

Obviously it needs to be the best man for the job though.

I believe they’re waiting for the weather to turn cold so then can allow Scott Parker to wear a cardigan in the announcement video!

It’s certainly dragging on isn’t it.

People are allowed to be concerned. I don't think its for a lack of trying that we haven't got a manager/head coach yet.

We know that the current squad is well looked after with bellamy and jackson, but we need a confirmation this week so we can start moving on from the VK model.

We have a really strong squad and a golden opportunity to go straight back up if we can keep the core of this team together.

The manager saga dragging on is doing our chances no good.

Whenever the international players are back in pre season (minus amdouni and weghorst) that is the time we really need to have a perm manager in place. Then the focus switching to the player side of the summer on who stays and who goes

Maybe we’re not waiting on a manager at the Euros - When does the Copa America finish …?

We'll be lucky to get someone who works at the Copacabana

I have a feeling that CT's premonition will come true.....something is imminent.

You obviously haven’t seen all the Instagram vids of our players having private training sessions all over the summer. From the looks of those, a good bunch of them are very motivated to stay fit.

I also think to expect them not to care about getting fit for the season ahead is massively underestimating their levels of professionalism.
I've seen them. It's pr. It's usually low temp shooting drills.
Not high intensity fitness stuff. If we want to play a high pressing game they need to be extremely fit.

There was a time when players came back for pre-season to get fit. Now they have to return for or they have no chance.
