He wowed us with his flair, and could score from here or there.

Just signed a new deal at Brentford

Time to get a grip perhaps?dermotdermot wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 1:19 pmThis is beyond a joke now. Players leaving or wanting to leave on a daily basis. When, if ever, are they going to announce a new manager?
Way too many worriers on here. "What concerns me" - "What worries me" - "I worry that"Holtyclaret wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 4:08 pmTime to get a grip perhaps?
Taylor, cork, BPF and jbg have left.
Rumours about Traff, Muric, Vignouroux, twine and o Shea .
They’ll be 10-15 leaving and a few coming in. We’ve 40 ish first team players as it stands.
Interim management in charge, international players not back for a while.
Head coach search nearing end you’d imagine. It was always going to take a little longer during season break and major tournament and if it yields the right man it’s worth it.
It’ll be reet UTC
It has taken other clubs a lot less time to be fairHoltyclaret wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 4:08 pmIt was always going to take a little longer during season break and major tournament and if it yields the right man it’s worth it.

Not all clubs are in the same position.
You are correct we’ve known about this for a little while now. Going off last seasons debacle the board should have had a shortlist drawn up to replace blockhead anyway.
No, but 16 have appointed a new manager since the end of the season.
Alan is still awaiting delivery of a smart grey cardigan that he ordered online to wear at the joint press conference.
Will he be wearing them but not the caps with Kompany gone?kentonclaret wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 4:31 pmAlan is still awaiting delivery of a smart grey cardigan that he ordered online to wear at the joint press conference.
And some a lot longer and Watford have probably had 3 in last 6 weeks!
Have Football Insider ever been correct?Guller Bull wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 4:45 pmDoes Parker have a pen?

Not often to be fair.

Parker looks about 69 in that photo. I've seen fewer wrinkles on a walnut.
They where the first to call Trafford to Burnley last summer tbf
I guess I remember the times they got it wrong. I do hope they have this correct as I think he'd take us back up.123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 4:53 pmThey where the first to call Trafford to Burnley last summer tbf
Yes, it’s a different world now.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 2:45 pmThere was a time when players came back for pre-season to get fit. Now they have to return for or they have no chance.
And presumably not First Choice123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 5:01 pmA manager not employed, not at the euros and not in need of a work permit, very interesting
Ah, it’s the merch opportunity in grey cardigans that has driven us to Parker. I see. Clever from Pacekentonclaret wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 4:31 pmAlan is still awaiting delivery of a smart grey cardigan that he ordered online to wear at the joint press conference.
Me either. See it as a big backwards step from Kompany and I’m sure the players will too.
Well yeah whoever it is now is likely not first choice
Nothing can be a backward step from what we had to endure last season
So, with 2 clubs, both with better squads than the rest of the division, he came 2nd and play offs. I'm not sure that's particularly impressive, especially with happened after those promotions.Guller Bull wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 4:45 pmDoes Parker have a pen?

Well, I dunno.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 5:14 pmNothing can be a backward step from what we had to endure last season
Fair enough, we don’t do this is my opinion vs fact. I think they will be thinking “who?”.claretskeith wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 5:14 pmTo be fair we don't have a clue what individual players will think. How about the fact he has 2 promotions under his belt? They could equally be thinking of that.
I don’t think it’s fair to say that’s the benchmark. Whoever takes over has a squad that is nowhere near what we had.NewClaret wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 5:19 pmWell, I dunno.
I’ll measure Parker (or whoever it is) not on how they fare in the premier league but how they fare in the championship because that’s the challenge that faces them initially.
101 points, 3 games lost, 87 goals scored is the benchmark. I’m not sure Parker’s more pragmatic style will get anywhere near that kind of result.
If we then go up I’ll judge him against how he fares in the premier league, which I agree is a much lower bar.
