Bellamy has obviously been there, but it’s not him.
I’m not going to divulge the name because it was sent to me privately by a very good source. If it happens, it will be a coup. But I was told just before the Scott Parker news broke.

I've not read or heard anything about how RVN feels about it, but I must admit I was pretty disgusted when I heard this news on the radio given the outrageous wages the players pick up and the fact they're about to add another two massive salaries to their books.bartons baggage wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 7:26 pmApparently he's not comfortable taking a well paid position with redundancy hanging over the heads of 250 Man utd employees.

Yes, he's been there all week since they returned to training, since that is his duty as interim manager.ClaretInLeeds wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 7:07 pmNo fishing here. So they interviewed somebody else in the betting odds, then hours later the news broke we had made a decision and it was going to be Parker. Sounds like this individual didn't interview well then.ClaretInLeeds wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 7:30 pmBellamy has obviously been there, but it’s not him.

I do find it hard to get behind a manager that's got a 9-0 loss on his resume. That's a team that doesn't fight for a manager - oh and, Bournemouth become immediately better once Gary O'Neil took the reins.

I expect Parker to get us out of the Championship which he achieved at both, nothing more or less. Kompany was a complete flop in the PL and most of the time didn’t know his Trafford from his Muric or his arse from his elbow.

Also, sorting out his clothing and wardrobe allowance. With so many matches to be covered live on Sky he’ll need to keep up sartorial standards and not be shown in the same grey cardigan every match.Carlos the Great wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 8:17 pmIm sure nowadays be a lot to finalise ,, not only his contract but his back room staff ,, his budget and expectations ,, bonus ,, I would imagine it’s quite complicated ,, I think some people ybink it’s like here’s your keys to the ground ,, here is the light switch for when you leaving ,, press that alarm till it beeps ,, good luck

The cardigan he wore for the 9-0 defeat at Liverpool, the grey number with the white stripes on the left sleeve, cost a cool £950, according to reports.

£950, I wouldn't give them £9.50 for it.

Your spouting absolute garbage as usual. I live in Bournemouth and most people I know thought he did a good job in the Championship but thought he was out of his depth in the Premier league, which he was in charge for all of 4 games and was sacked for slagging off the owner for not backing him when they got promoted. Bournemouth only improved after a change of ownership and a substantial amount spent on new players in January.burnley007 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2024 8:21 pmYou are completely and utterly missing the point.

Re: Next manager
One of my worries about Parker is whether he really has a team like Kompany had? And more specifically on the analytics, sports science, fitness, GK coaches, etc? Kompany bought in loads from City which was sort of reassuring they knew their stuff.
Anyone know who his assistants are? Or what sort of team he had around him?

According to the BBC :
Should Parker be appointed, ex-Wales international Bellamy is likely to stay at the club in a coaching capacity, along with new assistant Henrik Jensen, coach Mike Jackson and set-piece coach Eliot Tybebo

Why is the set piece coach remaining ? He’s doing a lousy job. Presumably Parker has watched videos of us defending set pieces and our threat from them to know this needs improving.
