Interesting interview.

Seemed very serious. Not loads of substance, a lot of what you would normally except a new manager to say was peddled out, but then I appreciate he has just signed up. I’d do think he was a bit more negative (maybe cautious) than I’d expected.
Got us ready for ‘the bumps’ in the long hard season, but then maybe that’s just his way of confirming /accepting / preparing everyone for how much change in the playing squad is needed and how tough that’s going to be.

A brilliant no nonsense interview. Learned more about him just listening to what he was saying, than the extensive research I have been doing on him on the internet. A no nonsense guy, with good virtues (not dissimilar to SD's), who will demand 100% from the players. Agreed -Parker's tenacious, hard tackling playing style reminded me of my lifetime hero Brian O Neil. I think he will demand the same tenacity from his team.

The problem for a manager that isn’t a widely popular choice, is he needs to make good start, especially that 4th game, or it will turn sour then toxic very quickly. It’s not right or fair, but it’s sadly the reality.
