a very different watch that, all of them took their time, took a few deep breaths and then took them. Not something we often see.

Great pens and again we’ve somehow managed to win against poor opposition without ever looking remotely decent ourselves . Should be a cracking semi against the Dutch .

He's gone anyway regardless of the outcome. He's pretty much admitted himself it's run it's course. I find it quite strange some people calling for him to go when he's already gone apart from another game maybe 2.

A very even game overall and I went from thinking we could score, to thinking we were out. Mad. Kane looked absolutely knackered though the entire game and it looked like we were playing with 10 men for large parts.

Idiot BBC Panel praising GS for timing of subs. Give over. Changes were needed long BEFORE Switzerland scored.

Mind blowing isn’t it? We go a goal behind and Southgate gets praise for bringing on attacking subs.

Not played since something like February
Not match fit.

You don't start if you're not match fit unless there's a plan to take you off.

Maybe, just maybe, the opposition isn’t quite as bad as people want to make out? They’d drawn with Germany and beaten Italy on their way to the quarters.

Much better performance today, if we continue to improve maybe we’ll peak at exactly the right time!

Better than previous rounds, but still need to step it up again, keep Kane on the bench,
the younger players are so cool under pressure, onward and upwards 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

He certainly seems short of pace and not getting g into position, like he used to. Permanent injury outcome, perhaps. Certainly done his bit along the way.

Fair enough re the Swiss, but we don't really try hard enough to win. Having seen the quality of ours pens, I now see the logic of our tactics. If France can do same to Spain, we could win the Final after a nil nil on pens. Boring as xxxx.

Struggling to see either of these teams beat England, even though we remain poor and negative (e.g. 6 players in the box when we needed to score, but at 1-1 we never did again).

We were better though, and I think we will beat the Turks and probably the Dutch.

The Spanish are the best yet though, by far. France poor, like us.
