Re: New Ticket Scheme
When you put in https://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/ does it take you to the page with umbro or castore as the sponsor?

Re: New Ticket Scheme
I had 1960 last season, only 1500 points transferred over and 350 added for this season.
How does that work out?

Re: New Ticket Scheme
Sorry but what does that mean?
Re: New Ticket Scheme
I’ve lost more than that. Something not right. Will be emailing them.

Not looked at the main site for ages. When I logged in my loyalty points used to come up, not any more - where are they?

Re: New Ticket Scheme
You login to the new ticketing site atdougcollins wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 4:38 pmNot looked at the main site for ages. When I logged in my loyalty points used to come up, not any more - where are they?
https://www.eticketing.co.uk/burnleyfc/
You then click on the icon top right (just to the left of the basket) and your loyalty points are displayed at the top.

Re: New Ticket Scheme
I had a response to my email today which didn’t really answer the question.
Assuming the old system wasn’t a massive cock up and has been rectified by the Ticketmaster algorithms then I think I’ve lost about 300 points too much. Looks like most people are in the same boat, and it’s not really gonna matter, but it would be nice to know why.

Re: New Ticket Scheme
Does anyone know if joining as a member like last season it entitles you to 2 tickets for an away game per member before there go on general sale? Website doesn’t say that this year just the fact priority before general sale.
Re: New Ticket Scheme
But if you're dropping the 20 points per game to 10 then you have to do it over 5 seasons. It's 1000 points ish.Granny WeatherWax wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 6:45 pmThat we missed the opportunity for points throughout Covid. So 10 a game over the 4 year period is probably there or thereabouts.

Correct, it doesn't actually say but it was 2 last season.worthingclaret wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 7:32 pmDoes anyone know if joining as a member like last season it entitles you to 2 tickets for an away game per member before there go on general sale? Re: New Ticket Scheme
Just trying to think about the seemingly missing points - have they added the forthcoming season ticket loyalty points yet to our overall total? I’ve just clicked on ‘account history’ and spotted this: (no mention of 350 points for my renewed season ticket)

Re: New Ticket Scheme
Was only 20 points per game last season.
Fact is I’ve lost 880 points and max for 18/19 season was about 700 give or take. They can’t answer why I’ve lost more than the max allocation, and I reckon I only earned about 600 in 18/19.

Re: New Ticket Scheme
Similar to me. I've checked back and even given them the figures off their ticket page. They've replied that I'm above the top bracket figure but in reality I'm around 170 points short which is nearly a 3rd of the away games that I need to attend before I get to what I see as my correct figure.Granny WeatherWax wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 6:02 amWas only 20 points per game last season.

Id need to work it back but maybe they’ve used 20 points per 18/19 away game, incorrectly.Claret Till I Die wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 6:11 amSimilar to me. Re: New Ticket Scheme
I sent an email to the ticket office asking how they came to the number of points that were removed.
I had 960 points knocked off taking me down to 1890. I explained that with 5 season tickets alone it is 1750 and my away games last season alone took me above that figure. They thanked me for my email and said points get wiped off now once they are over 5 years old and no longer count.
I tried again using basic numbers to try and show how the number is wrong and was thanked once again and told some points now expire.
I just gave up in the end

Re: New Ticket Scheme
I calculated that for 18/19, if someone attended every away game, all cup games home and away and had received 50 points instead of 10 for 1 of the home European games, they would have accrued 660 points. Most of my friends have had more than that number taken off their account.Granny WeatherWax wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 6:02 amWas only 20 points per game last season.

The maximum is 660 from my calculations tooLeisure wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 8:52 amI calculated that for 18/19, if someone attended every away game, all cup games home and away and had received 50 points instead of 10 for 1 of the home European games, they would have accrued 660 points. 350 - season ticket
180 - away league games (none were awarded for the Man City game)
10 - League Cup
20 - FA Cup
100 - Europe (5 at 10 points and one at 50 points)
Maximum is therefore 660.

I didnt go to Istanbul, Olympiakos or Leicester so should have lost 630 but have lost over 900 on my total. Im still above the first tier total but it does show that they have done something wrong as everyone is sayingClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 9:27 amThe maximum is 660 from my calculations too

They have replied to my email when i pointed out the 660 points thing, they have said they are still updating the system and some points will be added in the coming weeks.Leisure wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 8:52 amI calculated that for 18/19, if someone attended every away game, all cup games home and away and had received 50 points instead of 10 for 1 of the home European games, they would have accrued 660 points. Re: New Ticket Scheme
Thanks to all on this thread, mine has also dropped by 900 and family needed relinking. I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for this thread. I also had problems getting to the site and in the end the only way i could do it was to put my iPhone in to private browsing, as Ticket Master wouldn't load.

The only way I found it was to go on the club site, find the article about the queue jumping memberships and click to purchase. And it took me there.ClaretAL wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 10:38 amThanks to all on this thread, mine has also dropped by 900 and family needed relinking. Does anyone have issues trying to login from their phone. I had the same issues with the previous ticket site, I get the sign on screen but it just flashes on and off and won’t allow me to login.
I’ve never been able to use it on my phone.

1. Open Safari (normal) web browser.
2. At the bottom of the screen there is a symbol of 2 overlapping boxes, click this and then click/scroll to " private"
Type in the usual address and it works.

Worked. You shouldn’t have to do that though.

Totally agree. Its the only way I can access it from work, as it blocks the works PC due to some protocol or something.

As requested by Mr Leisure.
My Loyalty points
3340 at the end of 23/24 season
2170 + 350 = 2520 now
So a loss of 820 !
This can’t be correct Peter.
