Excellent penalty, but should never, ever have been given surely.

You can attempt to save that header if you want, Jordan.

Pickford shrinking yet more? Looked tiny when ball hit bar! Nowhere near it.

He’s had a poor tournament, don't know why, he was terrific for Arsenal last season.

Whisper it quietly but we are playing really well here.

Bad decision making from Mainoo there but he's been terrific otherwise.

If Kane ( as he is ) stays more forward , it gives more room for Foden and Bellingham to work in .

By far the best performance from us so far. We actually look like we can mix it with the big boys at last (we'll probably lose it now!)

Players finally performing like they do for their clubs. Could do with a goal whilst we're on top though

Penalty all day long. Just think about if that happens anywhere else on the pitch, it’s given every time. Well done to the refs.

Much better than expected.
Keep getting Foden on the ball as much as possible.

Re: Euro 2024
England the better side but needed a disgrace of a refereeing decision to get them level. The Dutch have had the two worst vars of the tournament go against them.

And when he's too deep it can make the team drop back. He needs to stay up top.expoultryboy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 8:36 pmIf Kane ( as he is ) stays more forward , it gives more room for Foden and Bellingham to work in .

I wonder how much the ref had on a first half peno?

Re: Euro 2024
Needs Palmer on for at least 30 mins if score still level.
Fresh legs would do it.

He'd already got his shot off, his follow through made him collide with defenders foot.PremierLeagueClass wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 8:43 pmPenalty all day long. Just think about if that happens anywhere else on the pitch, it’s given every time. Well done to the refs.

Re: Euro 2024
Having gone behind so early, that was so much better from England although I remain mystified at the award of that penalty.

Re: Euro 2024
So much better. It'll be even better with Shaw at left back assuming he can play 30 minutes. Foden and Mainoo outstanding. Ball needs to come to Saka more.

Re: Euro 2024
Koeman may bring on Wout Weggie the not so secret weapon for the second half.

Re: Euro 2024
Phil Foden and Kobbie Mainoo have been brilliant, running it.

Yeah, Trippier’s final ball has been a let down a couple of times on the left.summitclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 8:54 pmSo much better. It'll be even better with Shaw at left back assuming he can play 30 minutes. Foden and Mainoo outstanding. Ball needs to come to Saka more.

I really wish we'd been able to sign Verbruggen
Re: Euro 2024
Could you imagine his celebration if he came on and scored the winner. He's already unbearable!

Re: Euro 2024
Finally Foden has been taken off the left wing and allowed to play his normal game. The whole team has improved thanks to one tactical change.

Re: Euro 2024
Thought Mainoo has been excellent as well as Foden. We’ve won playing poorly , please let us win playing like this. A completely different England performance and match winners available to come on. Southgate this is your time

Re: Euro 2024
Foden and Mainoo are the stars of the show so far. Would look at maybe swapping out Trippier for Shaw because I think he would cause many more problems especially against the lad on a yellow card. Like someone else said Rice has had a shocking tournament. Where has the Arsenal Rice gone??

He was in the middle vs Switzerland. Like you say, since then we've improved under this change of setup.Vino blanco wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 9:00 pmFinally Foden has been taken off the left wing and allowed to play his normal game. The whole team has improved thanks to one tactical change.
