Bit early to be second guessing this I think.

We'll want at least a week or two of Parker getting to know the players and he'll have to be make some quick judgments as to who gets shipped out.

Just as when Dyche arrived, the priority is to get bad apples out of the door - fast. Then he'll need to make judgments based on ability and attitude.

Once that's been done, we'll have a much better idea of the players he'll be picking from.

But until then, we don't even know who'll still be here in a few weeks time, let alone have enough info to pick a starting 11 from that hypothetical squad.

Assuming? Assuming??

Ok, assuming we get rid of a few, and bring some in…

Muric
Walker, saliba, van dijk, shaw
Gordon, Foden, rice, lamine
Olmo, Watkins

Look - we have no idea who’s going to be here and who isn’t… so it’s utterly irrelevant really.

All I know is that I’d like Parker to spend as much time as possible looking at everyone currently here, and working out what formation gets the best out of who we have. Not so sure he’ll play with 8 wingers tho…

No I can’t - and don’t call me Shirley. Fortunately, Amdouni doesn't have to play. . Foster on a bad day is a match for amdouni on a good one. (I’m guessing there really, as I haven’t seen amdouni on a good one…. Or have I?)

Subs: New GK, Sambo, Beyer, AAD, HNM, Benson, Zaroury, JRod, Obafemi*

(Assuming Wout leaves and Amdouni not back long enough after his break to feature.)

(Think you get 9 in the Championship now)

Beyer, Cullen, Odobert and Berge have to be in the 11 if they're at the club. Rest to fit around them.

Have to disagree. Think Foster is much better and also we need JBG’s passing, experience and dead ball expertise in the 10.

This is also a thread about Luton and doubt Amdouni will’ve been back long before the first game.

Brownhill will start. Berger will be sold. The rest is anyone’s guess. We have 43 players trying to impress SP.

Assuming he hasn’t been sold will Amdouni even be available for the first game? Having been at the Euros!

If I was starting Tresor it wouldn’t be on the right either behind the striker or off the left. I would probably have Tresor behind foster with odebert right and koleosho left but have them 2 swap a lot rest I would keep the same

Expecting Odobert to go for big money. Also last update I got was that Muric had told the club he wasn’t coming back and Tresor had failed to report so wouldn’t expect either of those to be around.

Lines up with Muric’s instagram picture yesterday which definitely wasn’t in England. As well, what an absolutely shocking attitude Tresor has. The very worst type of player.

I’d be amazed if we can shift Tresor this summer. Best bet is a loan where hopefully he can put himself in the window for next summer.

Muric we should be able to make our money back on at least.

Very weird to suggest Foster isn't up to it while advocating for Amdouni to start up front.

Foster has literally showed that he can put in genuine top quality PL standard #9 performances - just needs to sort out his off the field stuff and work on his consistency.

Easier said than done mind - really hope he can do it and be the player we know that he can be.

As for other hearsay about players wanting out etc, lots of bullshit/fake ITKs springs to mind as always.

Obviously about 5 weeks or so too early to even begin to speculate on the team. Personally I’m hoping Tresor and Amdouni will be gone by then , no doubt along with Weghorst, and I find it bizarre that anyone would advocate a team with either of them(particularly Tresor) in it.

Will not be shocked if Odobert goes for big money. Fantastic young player and likely too good for the Championship, but nevertheless selling a future star is tough to take.

Also saw Muric was out of the country yesterday so that ties in. Although he did have a couple of weeks internationals I think.

If Tresor has failed to report that’s a disgrace, assuming he’s not got permission of the club.

Muric cost about £2m or something and is rumoured to be going for £10-£15m or something, which for a guy with some of the best GK stats in the premier league last season, I think is pretty cheap.

If that is true about Tresor, just, wow.

On the evidence of what we have seen he would be just as useless in the Championship. No heart, no effort, lightweight. Worst signing in the clubs history on a pound for pound basis at this current moment.

Our best 45 minutes of the last Championship season was without a heavyweight striker, away at sunderland
In the 1st half, with Barnes, we were dreadful

It was

Muric
Roberts THB Taylor Vitinho
Cullen JBG
Benson Brownhill Zaroury
Tella

I also don't think we have any idea what our squad will look like come 30th August, so how anyone can pick a team for Luton is beyond me

I'd expect the following to be here
Sambo
Vitinho
Pires
Esteve
Al-Dhakil
Beyer
Ekdal
JBG
Cullen
Koleosho
JRod
Ramsey
Massengo

As for the following, who knows
Muric
Trafford
Vigoroux
O'Shae
Delcroix
McNally
Bastien
Odobert
Berge
Brownhill
Amdouni
Foster
Tresor
Benson
Zaroury
Churlinov
Weghorst
Egan-Riley
Roberts
Twine
Redmond
Obafemi
