For some reason I don't feel as nervous as I have done for the previous 2 games. Perhaps because we're slight underdogs.

Re: Spain v England
It’s going to be a tough, tough game. I just hope we approach it in the same way we did the semi final win against The Netherlands.
Shaw in for Trippier is the correct decision so the starting line up is probably correct.
I just hope Southgate isn’t afraid to hook some of the big names if they go missing during the game.

Head says a Spain win, but if we're level at worst by half time I think we can do it.

Wish we were good on the break but we aren't. Too slow and cautious.

Anything can happen in a one-off game but England have shown nothing in any game so far that they can even compete with Spain never mind beat them.
Spain 0-2 England
Spain 0-2 England
Re: Spain v England
Already watched (on youtube) an England side in a European Finals match beat Italy 16-6 this afternoon out in Braga in Portugal ... The England Womens Lacrosse team now in quarter finals regardless of the result tomorrow v Netherlands

Spain are a good side, not a great one. If we up our performance another notch and get at their back 4, I think we've a really good chance

Re: Spain v England
We took a very good Italy side to penalties last time out. I don’t think this Spanish side is exceptional so it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that we can take them very close.
It’s going to be so history breaking to achieve what we want and we have been disappointed so many times over the decades.
I can’t bring myself to make a forecast with any conviction , just really hoping that every time I think Spain will win there is something somewhere going to prove me wrong.
Need this win so badly

Re: Spain v England
Spain have looked decent but they were all over the place against Georgia and versus France were decent for the first half an hour. We get at them and they'll sh1t it IF we get at them.

An attacking move swings it England’s way. Just got to overcome serial loser Kane now
Re: Spain v England
The key will be nullifying Rodri. Stop him, we’ve every chance.

I'm surprisingly excited. Really hope we can win this, and if not at least make a really good attempt at it.

BBC just asking how you stop Yamal. It’s simple, he’s just turned 17, leave a thumbed copy of Playboy on the half way line and he won’t move into our half!

Re: Spain v England
Hmm? The first manager to get England to a final not in the UK, the first England manager to reach consecutive finals in the Euros (indeed, the first to even reach a final), the first English manager to reach a final since 1966. If that is failure then what do you call Greenwood, Hoddle, Erikson, etc.??

Quite a few of my Spanish friends over here, accept that they are favourites and expect to have a lot of the ball. They are saying however that England will be physically stronger and will put their defence under pressure.
Venga!! Vamos a ganar el campeonato europeo!!

This build up on BBC is painful. They should just start the programme 15 minutes before kick off.
