That is the one easy decision VAR could give, every time, and change football for the better.

Southgate sticking with that Pickford long kick to Kane that has failed in every previous game. Kane's feet don't even leave the ground and to my knowledge he's got his head to precisely zero of these.

But crack on, you may defy the definition of insanity yet.

Everyone bashing Kane saying he's struggling and shouldn't drop deep- what's he supposed to do, we've had 30% possession and Bellingham, Foden and Saka, whose job is to create and provide, haven't. He's dropping deep because the ball is almost never getting into the final third.
Bellingham has been a passenger every single game but pulled off one good header and one moment of brilliance to save us against Slovakia, the remaining 89 minutes he's not there.
Kane can't be up front without service or he's equally anonymous, our midfield is completely outclassed so far.

Thought they’d sorted that the year before last Bill…. They seem to have relaxed on it again.

Hands need to be down in the box, not used to hold people.

Southgate has made the correct decision to start with Shaw, which in view of Southgate's loyalty to players has been a tough call but really paid off. If we are serious about winning this now he needs to make an early decision too, to get Kane off soon if not now, and get Watkins on, and maybe Palmer in 20 mins. Think we can do this with a bit of bravery by Gareth

Been shite so far - bossed in posession and no forward plan
Kane needs taking off

Exploit their RB/LB's - both are old slow and crap

Struggled against their press but when we get on the ball we (amazingly) show, bar Rodri, they have worse defenders. That is our chance.

Safegate needs to let them off the leash, get a goal up, then play as we are so far (without FULLY sitting back like we did against Italy).

Just need Rice to offer more and Bellingham to relax and play it simple, he tries to do too much at times. We’re not getting the ball in the right area for Kane, he needs to receive some quality. Keep cool lads we can do it.

As exactly this but we know Safegate has no bravery. Would rather keep a team out then get us going forward with pace. Kane is killing us up top.

Best thing Kane could do is leave the pitch, he ain't getting near anything here.

I don't see Kane coming off before the hour. I just wish Kane would work the CBs a bit more, he is so easy to mark.

I am not a passionate England fan, I am half Serb on my mother's side, in fact since my Heywood born and Claret mad dad died two months ago all my surviving family are Serbs, but watching Harry Kane just strolling about is even annoying me. He ducks out of headers like Weghorst but even big Wout works hard and wins balls. Someone needs to tell him it's not walking football.

Midfield is all over the place and Kane is doing his usual disappearing act as soon as he plays against decent opposition.

Has to make changes.

Our issue is we’re playing a 90 minute game over 30/20 minutes when the subs finally come on. Kane offering zero again.
