Anybody watch the first episode yesterday? If so ,was the girl a Rovers fan?

No need for scenes like that.

Wouldn’t know who he follows but he’s a Blackburn lad. Blame the parents.

I've watched 1 and a half episodes. At the moment it's very much a 'meh'.
I watched the Cold Caller last week too. Another which I felt was a let down.

Worth a watch, I'll be watching the last episode this afternoon, anything to put off cutting the lawn.
I've decided to head over myself on Sunday after watching it

Bits of the surrounding areas were Watergrove reservoir. Not sure why they had to change. I suppose it's all down to logistics.

Wow that's brilliant, it may have been the very late 60s when I was first taken on the lake and then the 1970's when we came back to visit family in Rochdale and Oldham. Broke down on the lake once, drifted and had to be towed back
Next you'll be saying you got your bike from Jolley's cycles in Rochdale

Woking, yes I can recall Jolley’s!
My working life at Hollingworth Lake was as conductor on the Lady Alice and Pennine Queen and occasionally rowing boats, motor boats and the dreaded kids’ paddling boats.

Clegg Hall, does your user name come from the Clegg Hall that sits on the Rochdale canal close to the Lake?

Yes, I worked at Clegg Hall farm in my youth and looked after 1,000 laying hens in battery cages in the, then derelict, hall.

Bloody hell, of course it is.
I spotted the railway arches in a scene so assumed they'd been filming around Tod as well

Just watched the first two tonight
Mrs W is a Rochdaler so we know the Lake very well. It’s odd watching things when you know the location and spot “anomalies”

Call in at Littleborough Cricket Club whilst you're over this way. We play Lowerhouse this Sunday. We really enjoy walking around Hollingworth Lake. Finish off at the Olive and Pickle or Mr Thomas's chippy which featured in Episode 1. 2 left to watch. We've enjoyed it more since we figured out who the 2 young girls were

It took a while for that to click with us.
It wasn’t until one of them sneaked at midnight, then returned and the timeline didn’t flow, that we realised

It's popular area for TV dramas at the moment. Obviously there was Happy Vallley but there have been After the Flood and Passenger on ITV recently too.

Nope, she doesn't have a sister. She does have a look of Christina Ricci.
